Thanks for telling how to speed up time! As someone who gets bored very easily if things take too long in a game, I really appreciate being able to speed things up a bit. Honestly didn't expect it to be this easy (and at that point I realized I'm kinda stupid because I literally did the same thing with a different game some time ago)
5:57 its not letting you manually change the time because you have it set to automatically set the time but honestly changing the time zone seems quicker
The higher your luck is the better chance of earning caps from the actual production. So train your peeps luck. This will get you to the point of no rushing but even rushing should be no threat once you can produce a steady flow of stim and rad packs.
I've developed the same vault for close to 7 years without Kang the Conquering the damn thing. I contemplated doing what you do but still arrived at the conclusion that I will have more fun just waiting for things.
I've done this for 5 years already and the best part was when u change ur date every 7 days so that when u get back to the game u get all the caps from that daily week thing and ofc the launch box. That's what I've done and welp got legendary weapons, legendary cloth, pets and my vault can never be raided nor defeated cause of how strong the defense in the first and all the rest of the floors
Yep, that's the core strategy the video hasnt taught us much. And fyi, if you don't actually follow the 7 day rule, this means, you are not going to be able to reset the weekly rewards, which also means you will have to keep doing it day by day, without resetting everything to the first day. It will continue, from the day in year 2021 to 2028 and so on. It'll only end until you have reached the final year on yur device's calender.
Better just keep it to yurselfs, it's just broken. Moreover, the amount of lunch boxes u get is crazy. So imagine doing it for 2 hours straight. Every 2 mins Yu have spent to do it means 1lunchbox/2 mins. In 2 hours, you can get Abt 60 lunchboxes, provided that yur phone is charging and it doesn't over heat(happens to me alot). You also get a crazy amount of caps, and the amount of time u have skipped can be utilized to upgrady yur dwellers, create weapons, exploring etc
All my dwellers died due to the radiation, no matter how much water plants I created, there was still too many of them, there wasn’t enough time...the children weren’t growing fast enough. R.I.P All of My Dwellers Lasted only for 1 week
You breed to many dwellers, you have to get a few that can run the resource rooms, meaning you should at least upgrade 1 of their specials so they can produce water fast enough. Or... next time, just send everyone to explore outside and send them back to the vault. That way some dwellers will survive by exploring and others will be just waiting at the vault door.
Just set date and time of computer to a few years back before loading game or creating a vault and just play catch up to present day, speed through EVERYTHING!!!

Check it... Go into your system and( or phone) change the system date to whatever you want and return to game. Instantly speed up everything. Its a good glitch
One time I killed some deathclaws when Cappy was walking by as the room was getting their XP, coincidentally Cappy says his line, "Welcome to Nuka-World" lol it's funny when things like that line up cause it's almost like he called the deathclaws "bitches" at the end of his line
Yeah, you can rush rooms like that in Normal mode; Surival mode has permadeath; if a high-level dweller dies, it's disheartening. You never get that dweller back. It's not so simple in Survival.
We recommend you follow the video even in survival. The game is based upon percentages so you can increase your winning percentage by following our steps. We do not write content in the dark nor do we guess.

So i did the time glitch and this happened. After i trained my dwellers in training room their stat wont level up, and my software says i have -168 play time. anyone know how to fix it?
I just hooked up a quick key-bind to the letter y on my keyboard so every time I press it a day skips. I just maxed everyone out, got a stupid number of caps from the training, and had fun on quests.
When I speed up using date and time system to explore the westland and then I goes AFK, after that I open the game look at my dwellers and the dweller don't get any item and the information stuck at first time the dweller exploring. How to fix that? [Sorry I'm bad at English]
Not my play style but fun facts... cool video. My Vault (Vault 666) has about 161 females and 4 males. Maybe 20 or so are level 1, maxing their stats, maybe 4 or 5 are maxed stats and training in the waste land, but every one else is 50 and trained from level 1 to 50 with 17 Endurance for max possible HP. Also there is a dragon maw or mirv for all 200 dwellers to have one or the other... So I could get 19k from rushing successfully 1,000 times... or I could put a super beast dweller into the waste land with 17 luk and an item collector pet, and take manipulate time... much less tapping and I would end up with 21k caps...

New year came and the ad timer was crazy long so I did the change time to plus 1 year and set it back and the ad time went back to normal but screwed up the dwellers when exploring time stays at 0. I've about gone everywhere to find the fix and had no luck. Any ideas?

Devs forgot about the game. Players might have moved on since the game is pretty old, but still really good for any newbies. Is an offline game, single player. No online services to be had other than a few updates. So what would you expect, to be honest.
It won't do it enough to matter. It is extremely easy to get their happiness back up quickly. It is a downside, but definitely not enough to outweigh the upside.
Wait, so if 6 dwellers inside a merged room can kill a, let's say radscorpion at the same speed 2 dwellers in a none merged room can. How would "equipping the dwellers with a gun" affect this? Like for example if the 6 dwellers all have very powerful guns but the 2 dwellers have no guns or very weak guns.
Just think of it like this. If 6 dwellers in a fully merged room all had 6 powerful guns, that would be the same strength as 2 dwellers in a single room with powerful guns. They would both eliminate any threat or put out any fire equal to the other. It is the percentage of the room filled that matters regardless of the size of the room. In a non-merged room, you would need only 2 powerful guns instead of 6 to get the same effect. There is less healing that needs to be done as well with the 2 over the 6 because of the percentage.
Hey how do you attract more dwellers using the radio station? My guys been there for 3 days straight and still nothing anyone know of any buffers or clothing that can increase the chance of a dweller spawning?

i do orgies to fix happiness after extinction event when i resurrected lots of bodies. it goes from 10% to 85%... but need to abort lots of kids... because they are just 50%

Yeah lol it will happen when you are just starting out and don't know exactly how to play the game. A fully populated room only matters when they have sufficient weapons. This will also decrease when you don't merge rooms.
@@T4GSports they had an enhanced sawed off shotgun and still half of them died it took so long to re-populate my vault because there was only 1 male left (and was born recently lol) thank you for the advice though and keep up the good work

I'd advise u all to play this on phone cause than u wouldn't have to close the app and wait awhile to get ur money u can just go 7 days on ur date and than go back to the fallout game. But if u go to the date and time settings and u change the date it will work but only if u don't press the fallout shelter app on ur home screen. Just get out of settings and go to ur history apps that u went into ur phone and go in the game and there ya go.
I dont know if you can help me but, im on iphone at the time manipulation does work but i need to choose a different time zone everytime or else it doesnt skip. You think maybe you can help with this?
I don't change the timezone, I just change the time on my computer to fast forward. Also, I just got TPK'd by some moles. I could have used some money to bring them back. I'm going to have to try the grid system.
I read on steam if you move device time back to original (local) time, that the game will have minus time and it will take weeks or months for things to pass. Is this true? I don't want to corrupt my game
Just to give you both some perspective. We still play this game to write updates for our site. We have done this thousands of times with no such issues. When we say thousands of times we are not kidding either. The only way we could think of that happening is if you are doing the time glitch in reverse order to make things take longer which who would do that? Even then it would not be months behind and would likely not happen to begin with because the game isnt coded that way. The game doesn't correlate what time your divice is when you save, leave the game, then change it back to your normal time. The game will act like everything is business as usual. And no time zone is months behind or ahead which means whoever wrote that probably works for Bethesda lol or hates that people do this because they spent money on the game.
@@T4GSports I downloaded the save editor just in case.. it works perfectly, I got mr handy's on every floor and as many bottles as I want. Also allows me to edit time spent in wasteland and bring my dwellers back instantly
@@T4GSports your wrong because when I put my dwellers to explore the wasteland and I speed up a day it still says that the exploring time is at 0 and so I cant explore the wasteland.
i did the time zone thing, but now my dwellers don't get any progress done in the wasteland (no caps or xp) no matter how long they're out. idk how to fix that o.o
Wasteland junk will only be granted after the last day that was loaded into your save file. So that means if you go "back in time" and be playing in the past. You wont get any junk until you get back to your save file "latest date".

I used the time manipulation to train almost all my dwellers’ luck as well. I find it makes the odds of success higher

the game does that to prevent cheating
Just move the time forward onto your clock, not backwards. Then wasteland exploration will start working again

The radio room is in C so equip clothing that's used to make your dwellers mate
Charm and upgrade. Also making single room, radio stations also help.
This sound thing is really annoying cause i dont know what sound i should be waiting for to stop. Ive do the process right but its the sound stopping part i cant get right. So how long should it be until the sound stops?

i do orgies to fix happiness after extinction event when i resurrected lots of bodies. it goes from 10% to 85%... but need to abort lots of kids... because they are just 50%

i had an invincible radroach in a max upgrade fully merged fully populated power room that wiped out half the population (it was day 2 of playing the game)
Yeah lol it will happen when you are just starting out and don't know exactly how to play the game. A fully populated room only matters when they have sufficient weapons. This will also decrease when you don't merge rooms.
@@T4GSports they had an enhanced sawed off shotgun and still half of them died
it took so long to re-populate my vault because there was only 1 male left (and was born recently lol)

I'd advise u all to play this on phone cause than u wouldn't have to close the app and wait awhile to get ur money u can just go 7 days on ur date and than go back to the fallout game. But if u go to the date and time settings and u change the date it will work but only if u don't press the fallout shelter app on ur home screen. Just get out of settings and go to ur history apps that u went into ur phone and go in the game and there ya go.
I dont know if you can help me but, im on iphone at the time manipulation does work but i need to choose a different time zone everytime or else it doesnt skip. You think maybe you can help with this?

I don't change the timezone, I just change the time on my computer to fast forward.
Also, I just got TPK'd by some moles. I could have used some money to bring them back. I'm going to have to try the grid system.
when i use the speedup method my dwellers in the wasteland dont get any loot just caps?
I read on steam if you move device time back to original (local) time, that the game will have minus time and it will take weeks or months for things to pass. Is this true? I don't want to corrupt my game

That is not true.
Just to give you both some perspective. We still play this game to write updates for our site. We have done this thousands of times with no such issues. When we say thousands of times we are not kidding either. The only way we could think of that happening is if you are doing the time glitch in reverse order to make things take longer which who would do that? Even then it would not be months behind and would likely not happen to begin with because the game isnt coded that way. The game doesn't correlate what time your divice is when you save, leave the game, then change it back to your normal time. The game will act like everything is business as usual. And no time zone is months behind or ahead which means whoever wrote that probably works for Bethesda lol or hates that people do this because they spent money on the game.
@@T4GSports I downloaded the save editor just in case.. it works perfectly, I got mr handy's on every floor and as many bottles as I want. Also allows me to edit time spent in wasteland and bring my dwellers back instantly
@@T4GSports your wrong because when I put my dwellers to explore the wasteland and I speed up a day it still says that the exploring time is at 0 and so I cant explore the wasteland.
i did the time zone thing, but now my dwellers don't get any progress done in the wasteland (no caps or xp) no matter how long they're out. idk how to fix that o.o

For us it is somewhat random. It works for us then it won't work. It is almost as if it works every other time.
Wasteland junk will only be granted after the last day that was loaded into your save file.
So that means if you go "back in time" and be playing in the past. You wont get any junk until you get back to your save file "latest date".
Setting the clock back, waiting a few minutes and then setting it to the correct date causes fewer issues
