Happy Sunday Pack!! Do you think I’ll make it out here in the woods alone ? 🥺 Join me next week for my solo cabin life! Love from us four to ALL of you 💛🐾
Vanwifes is way to short this needs to be an hour show. My sister and I watch this EVERY SUNDAY and we love, love, love it. Just not long enough episodes.
Right !?!!! I think so too , it's like watching an episode off a tv channel , and it would actually make a really good tv series aswell , the editing is so well done and what these lovely ladies are doing and their energy they have is admirable.
I love the two of you! No fear, determination, and a gentleness that I truly admire. Simply a nice video every week that re-inspires me to go on. Thank You... In 60+ years of life I have never had a relationship as joyful as yours. So much love, so much joy...
I was wondering the same thing . I must've missed it or nothing was said. Hope all is well. You young ladies have done a lot out there , I wish I was 20 years younger and knowing what I've learned I would love living how y'all are living . Keep up the work and y'all`s home will be just like y'all want it in know time !
Oh how exciting! I'm 73 years old and only just came across this wonderful video series. I will have so much fun living vicariously through you 4 ladies. Wonderful .. enjoy! Greetings from The Netherlands. 🌹
You are all awesome, and so is your help, thanks Porter! I love how there is literally 1000 times more likes than dislikes! Oma, Alo and Nene Swaggerfish!
When I first started watching I thought “Oh god, these girls are gonna be obnoxious!” BUT as I continued watching I changed my mind completely and fell in love with you all! You’re so cute and positive and just downright lovely! I’m so happy for you both and wish you all the blessings in the world for your journey! We need more positive peeps like you two in this world! Keep making the world a brighter, better place!
Honestly, I thought they'd be obnoxious too when I first discovered them as so many DIY youtubers tend to be (both males and females), but I'm so glad I was wrong as I've been binge watching all their videos like crazy lately.
You are a woman of all trades one of a kind, you would put many a man ashamed with your determination and ♥️ in what all the projects you attempt. Congratulations! To Both of you young ladies……
Great Job, everything looks amazing, I am so proud of you both , such strong , smart, women, As I am a gardener , and have done lots of outside work, I would strongly suggest wearing gloves, trust me later in life your hands will appreciate it,
Fab. In my day cement was packaged in 1cwt bags or 112 imperial pounds or 50kgs. In UK we would call that a sump pump, but I guess a submersible (sub) pump is just as accurate. Your place is looking amazing. Such good workers and supportive friends.
So much admiration for your drive and determination. You make it look easy but I know very well it is all hard work and a labor of love. The shed looks awesome in its new location. Enjoying watching construction of the outhouse. Stay Strong, Be Well, Keep Safe . . . and NO never ever hand mix 36 bags of concrete alone. LOL.
I’m catching up on some older videos and you should be so proud of yourselves. What you have achieved in such a short time is so impressive and the quality of your work (no doubt there are several tries off camera 😂) is also very impressive.
Wowza!! The land looks great! 👏👏👏 I am stunned by how much you get done🙌🙌 Such a show of the power of 2 women💜🤩 Where did Jazmyn go??? Stay safe, be well and see ya next time👋👋
100% someone has probably answered the question, but it is a sub pump. As in submersible pump. I work for a company that repairs them 😊. Love the energy in your channel! ❤
What an amazing adventure you 4 are living! You are so open to growing, learning and hard work…impressive. And, you will benefit forever from the hard work you are doing now.
I’m glad you have good people around you that you trust when you are out there alone. I have to admit sometimes I get irrationally fearful about all of the “what if” scenarios. Our minds are so powerful! People like you inspire people like me to take chances and find my best life. Thanks for that.
can we just take a moment to appreciate how many of our comments Crystal and Jazmyn actually respond to !? It really makes me feel that they appreciate us a lot. thank you girls, I get so happy from the feeling of being seen by one of my favorite youtubers 💛💛🌻
Great idea, my property has tax write offs with green houses, a small house with only a carport, $40 in taxes a year, after a little more but can save $85 a year, I suspect a few hundred something in taxes. I love those deals. Oh yeah high.
You are the hardest working couple! Great job,I'm impressed with Crystal mixing all the cement by hand. Hopefully the time will go quickly until you are together again.Thank you for sharing, already looking forward to next week❤🤗
When you're putting your decking boards down, suggest you double screw onto the joists about 2 inches apart. Only in a couple of years your boards will start twisting, yes it's more screws now but will save you a lot of work in the future. Looks good though, think your both awesome, wish I had half as much as your guts and determination. ❤️
Love watching your videos, I hope jazz has a great trip! Mixing cement by hand is no joke, 36 bags is a hard task for sure, great job Crystal! I hope you have a great week guys! ✌🏼❤️🙏🏼
I really enjoy watching your videos every Sunday but felt sad today to see Jaz leaving. Hoping she will be back soon. The two of you are such an inspiration to young females.
I saw a design for an outhouse where they used a piece of galvanized culvert, like 4’ in diameter, and 7 or 8’ long. Put it on end like a can (pun intended) Cut in and hinged a door. Cut in a fan hole toward the top. Put a tin man hat on it it and…. Wallah!! It was an out house. It was pretty clever. Loved the log roller method! Walk like an Egyptian! And because it can’t be said enough…. Porter is a rock star!
I can’t wait to get my Sunday chores done so that I can see the four of you living life to the fullest. I love how you always tackle project redos with such humor and positivity! Keep up the inspiring work!
Awesome job. Liking this series, some great content! I do have a concern with the blocks you put down for your outhouse. Those blocks hold water. There are known issues that wood in constant contact with these will rot wood much faster (even pressure treated). Second, they will start to crumble (if you want examples, I can show you!) after a few years of nova scotia weather... due to the freeze thaw cycles we have here (which is why we have such terrible roads!). So it's a good idea to put the blocks on a bed of gravel, and to use a sealer on the blocks every year! Again, Awesome series, great content! Thanks for sharing!
I have to say, you guys are doing an incredible job with that place, i still remember when the cabin were officially revealed and it really needed lot of work. But you guys are making it look way too easy, handling everything like real champs
Another amazing video and another good job done, you are both incredible......I hope Jaz won't be away for too long.....at least you will have your girls to keep you company, Chrystal. I hope you have a good week 🥰🐾🐾
It is sump, like pump but with an s. There are 2 kinds which I use, one to make sure my basement don't flood and the other is use for filtration in my aquarium system.
Yay for a deck! It's gonna be a life changer I tell ya. Mahalo for keeping us all updated on your wonderful projects. The best part of my Sunday is waking up with a coffee and watching your channel. Much love!
I absolutely love Porter! He has the most beautiful smile and I believe he just loves y’all to death! What y’all have done with this piece of property is nothing short of miraculous! Really enjoyable content but I have to tell y’all I am exhausted after each episode…I am so lazy …Hubby and I have been to NS….Mostly up on Cape Breton Island….would be a great destination for y’all to do a little travel episode….I think y’all need a break before the cold weather sets in. ☮️❤️🍷
I'm so proud of you ladies! Everything is looking so amazing and falling right into place. I know I say this every single time, but can't help it, can't wait to see the update next Sunday. Keep up the good work! Xoxo
a sump is a low point usually to one side that collects water, so you would use a sump type pump. HOWEVER a sub pump is a pump thats capable of being SUBmersed in water, so your BOTH right.
Great vid, only problem is, the end seems to come too soon. If only my Misses knew how to use tools like you girls, would have stopped a lot of arguments over the years. Everything seems to coming together so quickly, a hell of a lot of work going on. Hope Jaz ain't away too long, will seem strange being alone after Fam being there too. You stay safe out there 👍
The more I watch you ladies do the real working hard on off grid cabin/home. The admiration and inspiration of motivate to get the job done. I am so proud of you ladies so much that I do hope someday I can visit you there. Keep doing what you love to do. I am looking forward to next Sunday's adventure! Much love and hugs from me to Crystal and Jaz.. 💓🐾
Ladies, next time you need to move a shed like that remember a little item called a spreader bar. You could have made one from a tree about 6 to 8 inches in diameter and about 2 feel longer or wider than your shed and just strapped it underneath and lifted it using the spreader bar to keep pressure off the sides of the sheds and Trevor could have driven it where ever you wanted it and set it on blocks or what ever you wanted for foundation. Just some knowledge for you to carry into the future. I have moved barns, sheds, grain bins, houses you name it I have moved it. Spreader bars need to be able to carry about 1.5 times the total weight of the item it is being used on and a 6 inch diameter hemlock or spruced should have easily handled the weight of that shed. Hope it helps you in the future. You two are awesome together! Bless you both.
girls I can't wait to see it all when your done its going to be amazing I can't wait to see what you do to the inside tho.Im sure that will be an transformation so as always ladies your videos are great just wish it was longer
Another great episode of my favorite show!!! Love hope everything is coming together!!! Porter is awesome!! Hope Jazzy isn’t gone for too long. I wish I could come up to keep Crystal company!!
Only problem is you need a generator to charge it up, unless you have solar and that is very slow, unless you have a lot. You can go through the power thing has in a short time. The inefficiency is that it takes more power to charge the Jackery than it did if you just used the power you made from the generator for what you ultimately use the Jackery for. I agree there are times when they come in handy and they have their place.
I think you'll be fine in the woods alone. Of course you'll miss Jaz but you will be so busy and exhausted. Hope it goes by fast for you. You two are such hard workers. The strength and energy is amazing. Thank you for sharing your journey with us. Love the smiles and laughs. It's hard to find these days. See you next Sunday. Have a great week 🥰💖
Your home is amazing and love watching what you two are doing which is inspiring to me to get more work done on my new water front property here in Olympia, WA
I'm not sure about this out house idea. I think it will be a smelly mess, like a port a potty, I hope I'm wrong! Real out houses drain liquids out and they decompose with worms bacteria and bugs. They don't smell. They last a long time because they compost down constantly. My favorite idea is to have a 2 holer with a dividing wall. One gets used, the other decomposes for several years. Then utilizing the handy back door, the soil can be used around trees etc. and it will be soil, no gross stuff. But really with mostly just two people using it, it might go forever without a clean out. My 2 cents, you're making great progress, great hard work!
Sump Pump... lol Think about a heavy-duty latch for the shed. Those winds can tear a door off very quickly. In fact, latches will keep most critters out of your garbage. Except for bears. lol
Oh my God those bags of concrete are sooo heavy, you are a lot stronger than I imagine but please take care of your back, I was pretty much likeyou guys and now at my 65 I have hack and knees problems. Take it easy. Everything is looking amazing.
Sorry girls for not being able to write directly in English, but hey, let's go google and see what happens. When I saw the title of the last chapter, I don't know why my heart skipped a beat. You are a special couple and great people. I send you a big hug.
What a marvel of Eden's garden is what they are building, I can't wait to see when it's finished, many congratulations to both of you, and thanks for sharing it, take good care of yourselves
my husband and I (Roli and Jacky from Switzerland) have been following you for a while, now it's time to say: thank you for your great videos. That we can be part of a part of your life. We admire your power and your enthusiasm. We look forward to more vlogs from you. take care of yourselves. 💕
It is called sump. sump is just the place where water collects. I think that you made it "alone" because you were not completely alone you had your dogs. Have a great week ahead!
You girls are the hardest working people I have seen. You make me tried just watching and my muscles hurt. What a great job you are doing. Keep it up it makes my Sunday morning something to look forward to. Thank you
Another happy Sunday Funday with the girls, all 4 of you. Nice that you had such good help to excavate, move the shed, etc. You are sooo amazing to accomplish all that you have. The vision from when you first bought the cabin to now is remarkable and will only get better. Did I miss where Jaz went? Hope all is well. Once again be safe, be happy and hugs from the old man. xoxox
Yup it is SUMP. And that hole is perfect. You guys got so much work done it’s incredible. You need a drone shot of the property now, it’s amazing how much stuff you all got done. Way to go ladies. Cheers!!!
Watching how active you ladies are… wowza! Makes me jealous and embarrassed at how little physical activity I do 😂 looks like it was another fun week - redoing projects is the worst but it will save you so much stress in the future 👌🏻
You two ladies are so beautiful and it is nice to have a friend like Porter. Crystal. It must be hard when one of you has to leave for a while. You still have your two lovely dogs for company. Look forward to next video. XX
I love watching you gals! The progress, the pups, your willingness to jump right in and ‘Get To It’ is awesome, Awesome, AWESOME! Thanks for sharing your love for each other. I’m looking forward to next Sunday!
Our outhouses over here has a feature that is a must, no outhouse can be without it, and that is a portrait of our King and Queen, and i am not even kidding! 😅I dont know when that tradition started, but it goes centuries back. You are really transforming this place to a gem in the woods, it looks more interesting by every episode. You guys are a pack of energy! Take care, see you sunday Crystal you will make it fine alone and you will be missed Jaz, be back soon! 🙃
Inspiration should be both of your middle names! I'm going to be buying land soon, and because of your videos in large part, I'm excited about the adventure ahead. Keep on trekking, ladies! You're beautiful lights in this world!!
Yes - sump pump! Your experience mixing and the cement by hand brings back painful memories of mixing 40 bags by hand. Exactly, I learned that I would never do that again!!
To settle the dispute... A sump pump is a pump used to remove water that has accumulated in a water-collecting sump basin, commonly found in the basements of homes. :)
Happy Sunday Pack!! Do you think I’ll make it out here in the woods alone ? 🥺 Join me next week for my solo cabin life!
Love from us four to ALL of you 💛🐾
You guys'll be fine in the woods! 😅 I think Tyler and Todd might have some competition. 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️🤪😂🤪
Laura Nyro wrote and sang some soothing wilderness related songs. Spiritually, she was into Pantheism, a celebration of the wilderness.
You're a machine, you go girl!! 💚✌️
U can make it anywhere!
The suspense about Jaz is going to be rough, did the stores stop carrying tofu and she lost her tempeh?
A sump is a low space that collects unwanted liquids, so the pump to empty it would be a sump pump.
Thank you Rick 🙌🏽🙌🏽 We have a winner 😉
its also a sub pump, because its submersible. 😅
@@Vanwives you both right! Everyone’s a winner!
submerged pump,i think.
Here in USA we say sump pump.

That made me smile. You’re so kind Steve. Thank you for watching on Sunday’s- so happy to know inspired 💛
But wait, Jazzzzz, where are you going? @16:32 between my tears and heavy fog, of course I can’t see. 😭😭😭. Amazing job ladies.
Must have missed something as nobody but me is asking "where is Jazzy?" ✨ Just another day at the cabin with "The VANWIVES." Fabulous episode.
Yes, where is she?
Oh how exciting! I'm 73 years old and only just came across this wonderful video series. I will have so much fun living vicariously through you 4 ladies. Wonderful .. enjoy! Greetings from The Netherlands. 🌹
Porter seems like a gem of a friend! Amazing progress!
It's a pity that Jasmine is not with you to help but you are doing amazingly well, And always with your beautiful smile.
I love how the dogs are right there with you all day! No better foremans on site than Bella and Izzy!
Yay Porter! It's always good to know people like Porter. I can't wait to see the results of your hard work. 😊
I have never seen such 2 hard working women! You both are an inspiration. What an awesome life you have!
LOL.
A BIG hats off to Porter, for helping out our favorite youtuber you done a FANtastic job Porter!
I’m catching up on some older videos and you should be so proud of yourselves. What you have achieved in such a short time is so impressive and the quality of your work (no doubt there are several tries off camera 😂) is also very impressive.
Sunday Morning Fresh Strong Coffee and Van Wives.........................A GREAT Way to start my Sunday every week
What a great Sunday morning! Having some strong coffee ourselves. Cheers John! ☕️
Probably safer there, than most US cities.
Your going to be perfectly fine at the cabin alone! So much to keep you busy and occupied
This week it was Porter for the win. What a great guy.
can we just take a moment to appreciate how many of our comments Crystal and Jazmyn
actually respond to !?
It really makes me feel that they appreciate us a lot.
thank you girls, I get so happy from the feeling of being seen by one of my favorite youtubers 💛💛🌻
Thank you for putting it in words how a lot of us feel. Be Blessed Kate Olivia

Hard work. Always thinking months ahead and being flexible when plans (and the weather) change. You are all doing amazing work!
Ah...portage. Great method of moving big things. I love watching you ladies. I am so proud of you.
You are the hardest working couple! Great job,I'm impressed with Crystal mixing all the cement by hand. Hopefully the time will go quickly until you are together again.Thank you for sharing, already looking forward to next week❤🤗

Don't know how much more cement you are going to have to mix, but we bought a smaller mixer for our house for about $350 U.S.

It's a SUMP pump.... the simplest definition of sump is that it’s a low space created to collect any liquid for removal.
Thank you! Makes a lot of sense now haha
And it is a submersible sump pump so technically you were both right😉
Your editing of these videos is just excellent, I feel like I'm watching an episode of a TV series every week! Keep it up!! :)
Agree! Very well done. 👍👍
Truth! It’s one many reasons I love their channel!
Sameeee
Wish you both well...Take care of yourselves

Awwww hahaha thank you for waiting 💛💛 Appreciate you
I feel ya Blake ha ha I usually wait up until around 12-1am to catch the latest vid , worth it though.

You girls are so much fun to watch! We (my dog, Pennie and I) enjoy watching Jaz, Crystal, Bella, and Izzy every week!
LOVE to hear that 💛🐾
That is a sump pump, a wonderful piece of equipment when you live in a wet and/or rainy area
Your home is amazing and love watching what you two are doing which is inspiring to me to get more work done on my new water front property here in Olympia, WA

Then utilizing the handy back door, the soil can be used around trees etc. and it will be soil, no gross stuff. But really with mostly just two people using it, it might go forever without a clean out. My 2 cents, you're making great progress, great hard work!
I love watching it all come together. It’s looking so good!
Sump Pump... lol Think about a heavy-duty latch for the shed. Those winds can tear a door off very quickly. In fact, latches will keep most critters out of your garbage. Except for bears. lol
The property is looking beautiful! Love seeing your progress! Btw, it’s “sump pump” 😉😊💗
Oh my God those bags of concrete are sooo heavy, you are a lot stronger than I imagine but please take care of your back, I was pretty much likeyou guys and now at my 65 I have hack and knees problems. Take it easy. Everything is looking amazing.
Thank you Sara. I will be careful. 💛
It’s a “sump” pump!
Haha thank you Greg
Submersible sump pump
@@Vanwives can confirm - sump pump haha
Sorry girls for not being able to write directly in English, but hey, let's go google and see what happens. When I saw the title of the last chapter, I don't know why my heart skipped a beat. You are a special couple and great people. I send you a big hug.
What a marvel of Eden's garden is what they are building, I can't wait to see when it's finished, many congratulations to both of you, and thanks for sharing it, take good care of yourselves

It is a sump pump! Your determination and teamwork are admirable and inspiring. Thanks for sharing such fascinating videos!
Sump pump for the win!! Wooo haha thank you for watching Will 😊
I always called it a sump pump.. but many of your community is also saying it could be called a submersible pump! So you are both right!😂🌞❤️🐾
It is called sump. sump is just the place where water collects. I think that you made it "alone" because you were not completely alone you had your dogs. Have a great week ahead!
Haha so happy I have them 💛🐾
You girls are the hardest working people I have seen. You make me tried just watching and my muscles hurt. What a great job you are doing. Keep it up it makes my Sunday morning something to look forward to. Thank you
Happy Sunday! Thank you for making us apart of your day 💛
Another happy Sunday Funday with the girls, all 4 of you.
Cheers!!!
Definitely “sump” pump, not “sub” pump. Crystal, you were absolutely correct.
Watching how active you ladies are… wowza! Makes me jealous and embarrassed at how little physical activity I do 😂 looks like it was another fun week - redoing projects is the worst but it will save you so much stress in the future 👌🏻
Don’t be- you’ve got it Sam! 💛 It’s true!! Love that you have that optimistic perspective, it’s definitely worth it.
You always miss that special glow when jazz is not there.
You will overcome.....
Great guy Porter🥰
Looking so good, I’d love to be younger and do that ❤️👍🏼😉🇨🇦
You two ladies are so beautiful and it is nice to have a friend like Porter.
You get done you will never want to leave the cabin. Beautiful work it looks great. Stay safe and take care.
Undoubtedly a most fitting display area for the king and queen.
Portraits of your royalty in the loo is probably due to the toilet being dubbed "the throne" 😂😝
Inspiration should be both of your middle names! I'm going to be buying land soon, and because of your videos in large part, I'm excited about the adventure ahead. Keep on trekking, ladies! You're beautiful lights in this world!!
Where did Jazzy go? Crystal I’m so glad you have the fur girls to keep you company. And you were right. It is a sump pump 👍🏼 💛💛💛
Me too!! Thank you- Us three will be patiently waiting for Jazzy to return! 💛
Yes - sump pump! Your experience mixing and the cement by hand brings back painful memories of mixing 40 bags by hand. Exactly, I learned that I would never do that again!!
Beautiful! Love all the changes you are making to the cabin and land. ❤️
Thank you Laurie 💛
@@Vanwives you are welcome Crystal! If it were Jazzy replying she would say Mom! Ha ha lol❤️
Laurie - you looked great out at the cabin and in the family vids. Good to see you!!
@@suzylewis7309 aww thank you for your kind words..🌞
To settle the dispute... A sump pump is a pump used to remove water that has accumulated in a water-collecting sump basin, commonly found in the basements of homes. :)
Yes! Thank you
We all need a “Porter”!
