Another tip for those who are super worried about pricing their items too low, especially in the first week of a league: Don't forget that your items (if they are rares with life/res and the like) are constantly depreciating in value (until they are worthless). You might be able to get 25c instead of 20c for the item right now but if no one buys it today, it might only be worth 10c tomorrow.
I do this instead of chaos recipe, just pick up wll jewelry and dump into 10c tab, even at that price I sell like 15-20 items a week, no sure how the hell tyty sell stuff in 40c tab, seems high to me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@@efreitorhabibulin238 People often need very specific items, someone might pay a divine for a "bad" ring because it lets him balance his wise oak while giving him the exact amount of dex he needs without bricking his build for example. it's better with addons, but relying on 3rd party addons sucks. The Awakened poe trade extension is cool. still have to manually go to stash and sell to player, but you can price check in game, which saves time.@@velikisme8611
About pricing items. People are way too fussed about wether something is a 10c item or an 8c item when selling. Just have tabs set up at meaningful increments. If an item doesn't sell in a 40c tab but sells quick in a 20c tab, just sell it instead of "hmmm I wonder if I could get 25c" because you'll most likely just lose the sale while wasting time standing around trying to optimise for a few c bubblegum profit
Yep, this is the big one. Who cares if you could have gotten 3c more, or 5 or sometimes even 50, If you're not gonna use that item just sell it and get back to killing stuff instead of wasting your (and your buyers) time. You're losing way more currency by wasting your time doing pointless re-pricing than you're ever gonna gain from it, not to mention the sales you're losing completely by doing that. Also goes the other way around, if there's an item you need and it might be slightly overpriced, just buy it and get back to mapping, it's not worth wasting 30 minutes on the trade site trying to snipe an item just to save 5c, you would have made that money back tenfold if you just played the game instead, plus it's a lot more fun. I have a buddy like that to the max and it drives me mad. Basically if he gets a whisper for anything in less than an hour after listing it he'll ignore the whisper and up the price until he stops getting whispers, then he'll complain about having no stash space because all his stashes are filled with garbage that's worthless by now since the prices crashed in the meantime, and whenever he needs to buy something he'll ask me if this is worth the price, I tell him yes and then he still keeps looking for a cheaper option and whispering pricefixers for like twenty minutes, just to end up complaining about trade being shit and the game not being fun as a result.
@@Failzz8 Yeah. Going through items trying to accurately price them for absolute max profit is pretty much only worth it if you play in a group and you're a dedicated trader/banker for the first few weeks because at that point you have the time. Or if you make time for it like when you're done for the day and have time to kinda just focus on trading for a couple of hours actively. Flipping, maybe looking for half decent items that would be easy to turn into profit by crafting a little etc.
Good tips just a PSA: letting people price check the item you listed leads to incurable ED and penile retraction. But you will make more currency faster.
To get the best of both world, just start at a disgustingly high price and gradually lower the tab, sell on first whisper. As a nice bonus, you'll often get people paying way above what the item should be worth, just because it happens to be the only item on trade that has the exact rolls their weird build needs to function.
Even later in the league, I can attest that some people will pay 20c for the most random crap just because they miss 3% cold res on the 1c version of the item.
"there's nothing worse than going and trying to buy an item and someone immediately lists the price for 20 times more and you know you're the only one looking for it" I FELT THAT. HAPPENS TO ME EVERY DAMN LEAGUE LOL

Ever since I started playing 16 hours a day my 6 wives have never been happier with my 8 ex employer. And I make at least 2c a day thanks to tyty! Thanks for the tips.
Here are my tips. Flip currency, chaos to div and reverse is best. In standard you get 6-10c per trade. With 40 divs sold where you made 7c profit on each trade you get basically free div. Flip expensive items, like mage blood, see when offers are cheapest and when most expensive. Buy when it's cheap, play with it to gather items faster, sell it when it's expensive to make few divs while you were making cash. Then simply buy another belt cheaper and repeat. This can save you a lot of money in case devs decide to nerf mb. All mb holders will lose half or more, where you still sit on 200+ divs
tbh i never knew the /kills command existed. Thats so good to know. I have half the kills/hr as tyty does so you would expect me to be earning half the currency/hr. It isn't exactly true as people may be farming tota or bosses or sanctum, low kill/hr areas, but for your average casual player who does a range of content I think this is an accurate measurement of currency gains. I'd love to see the kills/hr of people who say shit like "ive played 1000 hours and have never gotten a 6L".

I personally will underprice a lot of items by 1c (especially crowded markets), because a 5-10% loss is worth selling 30% more items. (e.g. if you price your trash deli orbs at 8c you'll never get whispers because like 300 people will list them at 8, but at 7 you'll get 10 dms instantly, so if you have a stack of 10 you can price them at 79c/10 and they'll sell instantly, though you could sell them at like 85-90c to people who look for bulk because it's better for buyers to not have to dm 10 people.) if you have a strategy like essences, it's great to friend people who dm you so you can just go "here's my 20 essences" and not have to worry about getting sales. (though you could also bulk price them on tft and get some great deals if you have big bulk like 100+ essences, and sell 1c essences at 2c each.)

Watching this vid on a break at work while he says 800k kills in 3 days wtf, I’ve put in almost 40 hrs in three days
So, I listened four times, "worth a диван"? Is that what you said back there tyty?
This is crazy I've tried to sell that for 1c and no one wanted it last league. Anything that worth 10 c or 1D. I sell for 1c maybe 3 regrets . And no one wants it. Oh well trade just hates me I guess for years now lmao.
How did he get this 300 divines worth mageblood?
