Hey bro. Beginner surfer here from Wellington New Zealand. Just started my surfing journey at 37 years old and took my first surf class last week. I just want to say I’ve really enjoyed your no nonesense approach in your videos. They’re engaging, to the point and so so helpful. I have a lot to work on, fitness and flexibility are a biggie for me at my age but I’ll let nothing stop me :) Thank you for your channel. Love and respect from way down under. This deserves more likes…..hand placement is everything! Props also for being attentive enough to outline your board and patient….easier than removing fins and putting them back on 😅😅I love videos about technique and surf workouts and drills! Can you make some easy pre workouts that won’t tire you out….and some workouts post surf that you can do…..I’m so exhausted after surfing (but like post surf workouts because of my schedule)so can you create a productive workout that’s doable even when your tired? Maybe a women focused video since our bodies are different? I have been surfing almost everyday for months and months and months, lifting weights, and some days just swimming and paddling for miles. And still, I don’t feel like my upper body strength is much different, extremely depresssing😅. I have a six pack defined abs and strong core and legs, but I’m really trying to get that strong arm! Ty for the videos
Great stuff ! Does the course touch on upper body strength ? ( Shoulder strength and endurance to avoid fatigue which also leads to shitty pop ups ) thx for all the great content also
Great video mate. I keep slamming my back foot on the tail of my board when popping up. Almost has me giving up on short boarding. Ever hear of something like this? Any fixes? Cheers!
Has eveyrone noticed how he is only able to do pop up videos? Its because he is not even an intermediate surfer and he is all about selling you the promise that surf can be done through his paid system - a real surfer would go beyond the basics and show videos/content of him doing more than pop up. This is almost a SCAM- AVOID
i actually did his workout in a previous video (that's not a paid one), and it dramatically improved my popup. i had struggled to stop using my toes to pop up (from riding a long board) to snapping up from my knees. I did the exercises every day, and now i am snapping up perfectly every time.
@Mixedbydavey he only does pop up videos (he is not able to show how to do other things himself) he obviously is just taking advantage of beginners selling them a course of things he can't do. You are a troll if you can't see what he is doing.

Absolutely! Stretching and exercise works on everyone. In fact, if you’re really inflexible you have the most benefit to gain 🤙🏽

Swimming too close to shoulders gives ‘ swimmer shoulder’ so try that, not so close to board paddle and RUclips ‘ swimmers shoulder’
Can you pls refer to the exercises that allow pop up from the knees instead of chicken foot popup for someone with long legs and middle age
