The Diva album is an absolute masterpiece, every track is excellent and replete with soaring vocals, exquisite harmonies, captivating rhythms, and lyrics that paint such evocative images. Surely one of the greatest albums of the decade, if not ever. I was stationed in Africa for a year in 1993 and must have played the album almost daily for the entire time, if only to remind me of the world I had left behind. After all these years the music still takes my breath away. Thank you Annie 😊

Her first solo album "Diva" is in my top three albums of all time by any artist or group. I just never tire of listening to it because there isn't a single ordinary track on it. An absolute must to own.
I have a friend that lived as a roommate with Ms. Lennox before she was discovered or even known. My friend relayed to me that this was not an issue with Annie at all, only a very temporary state she would very quickly be catapulted out off in what she knew without a doubt would be her inevitable climb to the very highest pinnacle of Fame. Often running around their flat with all the air of a Grammy winning star's singing and performing to thousands of ravings fans that only she could see. Annie was a Diva, in her own right, because she fully believed it in her mind and soul, the accolades and external adulation that followed worked like icing on a perfectly frosted cake.

ANNIE as a singer-songwriter, visual-artist, fashion statement &model is above tre-accomplished. THIS IS in a category ALL by herself. Her CD ,"BARE" brought me through a very dark passage...i had to get a 2nd CD(wore out the 1st). I speak as a professional singer-songwriter & recording artist myself. Her performance in this video, combined with the music has always stuck with me. It's very striking. The song would not have been done justice if the video didn't include the mirror, the bold colors in red, yellow.
