Thanks Sam, I need to replace my inlet valve as well.
Good video. I caught how you tightened the brass fitting to the valve with your fingers then started loosening it with the channellocks 😂. Happens to all of us when working upside down.
Oh yeah, gets you totally disoriented haha
Thanks Sam and Owen! My son and I will attempt this on the weekend.
Hopefully you have a successful repair job! I will show Owen this message and he will be super excited!
What is your model number or which water inlet valve you buy
Thanks Sam. I was wondering if it's possible to just replace the filter on these inlet valves. Mine keeps getting clogged and the replacement part I just received, the filter is removealbe, but I can't find where to purchase just the filters. Any idea?
Great video
Cool video thank you but I'm just curious you replaced it because you had wetness on the floor just double checking... Your dishwasher worked you were just checking for why there was water on the floor... My problem is when I hit start no water goes in to the tub at all
Yes, I found out it was malfunctioning because of the leaking water. The valve itself was still working to let water into the dishwasher but it had a small crack in the plastic which was causing a slow leak as you could see in the video. You may still need to replace your valve too if it is not receiving the signal to open or is just stuck in the closed position and will not allow water in. If this is the case you would replace it the same way that I did. I hope this helps you out!
Thanks, Sam. You da man!!
Glad I could help!
Thanks!! You're a big help!
ON some models you could remove the door cover.
Irwin Tools, you must be a Lowes guy!
Love that Irwin screwdriver! I happen to do most of my home improvement shopping at Lowes and I am surprised someone could tell just by looking at the brand of my tools. Kudos!
@@samdenning6580 I do most of my shopping there too! Lowes is great. I like blue better than orange most of the time.
Why DO THEY HAVE KIDS IN THERE?
