I have a challange: Divide a canvas into multiple parts. When you start drawing, you are not allowed to look at the oparts you're not drawing on, so you are only allowed to see one part at the time. You must draw the parts of the canvas one by one. Try it. It'll probably be fun

It’s not very cool to assume that every person of the same age has the same mentality, I’m 14 and have been working on a drawing in ms paint for about a month. Assuming that is like assuming that all youtubers are only in it for the money, or all anime are good. It’s just not true and isn’t ok to assume, it’s offensive to the rest of us

As an adult it's dumb to assume something "profound" or well thought out was an original thought of the kid's. I was going to tell her you were just saying it because you've heard others say it. But you beat me to it. You draw well, far better than me. I'm not sure what kind of references were used, but it looks like you could use work on perspectives and anatomy. The limbs are where this really shows in this drawing. I also think the drawing would have benefited from some restraint with the colors and the highlight pen. You've got a lot of talent as it is, if you keep at it you'll keep improving. Don't fear ruining an artwork doing something you're uncomfortable with. The only way you can improve is if you do it. You're better off ruining some works that had potential now, and having a lifetime of skills, than having a bunch of half completed art works and never building the skill at all. That's a philosophy that's important in every skill in life. The younger you learn through error the better off you are in the long run.

It's still cool though, and it's only expected for people to be better at you in something, even if they are younger. It's just sometimes difficult to accept that fact, even though age often has little to do with skill, since someone who started drawing at age 30 would roughly be at the same level as someone who started drawing at age 5.

Dude, the thing I'm jealous of is the fact that this 14 year old actually has something in his life that he can turn into a career. I'm going to be 20 in 2 months and I have no idea what I'm doing with my life. I have no interests that I know of other than videogames but steaming/RUclips just doesn't seem like my sort of thing. I'm so happy for the guy. Even if he doesn't stay on RUclips, he's got a skill set that can get him hired to be a well paid professional artist and that's awesome.

I'd say I can't draw to save my life, but others have disagreed with me. Rarely proud of anything I make (aside from a squirrel I drew a year ago 🤣🤣) but I know the one thing I can do is draw sticks! Lots and lots of sticks, especially when I get stressed out because I end up with a whole page of sticks (scribbles).
