The Vortex was my favorite ride at Kings Island. Everybody talks about the inversions but that first steep and amazing. You really feel that centripetal force on those vertical loops. It was so fun going through those corkscrews at reduced speed. In the front you feel the push through and the back the pull through. Overall it was an amazing ride. Sad it had to go. I wish they would have gotten B & M to remake it. Would have been glass smooth and maybe taller.

I know I miss the Vortex really bad.....I do always have heavy hearts for the Tri-State's only looping roller coaster that's no longer feeling the grip anymore since 2019.... Although the Vortex nanocoaster & coaster cutouts are still available in the park. It makes me sad knowing the Vortex is gone forever.
