Excellent review. You are the one the rarest reviewer-s i saw starting appliance and let it run so we can actually hear the noise from the fans. Mostly other reviewers are holding appliance in hand and telling beautiful stories about it without starting.

Awesome content. Hopefully you test more air purifiers. Just something to add to your standardized test, you should have a separate air quality tester so that you may compare what the air purifier is reporting and what your tester is reporting.

hi! and thanks for the vid! why should one pick the 4 over the 4 lite (i am not talking about the PRO version) ? is there any other difference apart from a slightly larger area coverage, the ionizer functionality and the OLED display?
No as far i know, you already answered your question. Do you need those extra features?
ionizer just make the dust fall faster for the filter \ground the that's all, without ionizer it will take abit longer to clean thats what i;ve readed ( i got the lite version)
could duct cover(top cover) be disassembled? I want to know it because we could not disassemble top cover of previous models. Many dusts are in the top cover, but we could not disassemble the top cover.
I use a canned air duster to blow the insides.
No, this model can’t remove top duct cover unfortunately… but the other commenters idea of using a duster can is a great idea!! Or if you have a Dyson vacuum, they have excellent small “car” attachments & those vacuums are fantastic at sucking out dust from small & far places so you have a few options for cleaning ☺️☺️

The answer is yes (auto mode)
How the routine of changing the filter? Is it 3 months? 6 months? I saw a post about previous series frequently ask(APP) to switch to new filter
App is using simple method
It starts with 300 days and when purifier is working it starts going down. When it reaches low threads hold it starts to remind you to replace the filter.
I think that it is not really accurate. Here where i'm the air is really clean, when i turn on purifier it rarely shows more than 20 ... So it is not realistic that filter can be unusable after 300 days of use as if someone is using it in more polluted area ...
what would u reccomend the normal one or 4 lite i now have the 2c but every time i need to press the button to turn it on which is not nice i wanted to upgrade i also wanted to ask if the timer of the filter runs out will the machine still work or it will not work until filter is replaced
If you want to save some money go for 4 lite
It will work with dirty filter you will just get notification that you need to replace it
Great review. I have the Air Purifier 4 here in Hong Kong, and it serves its purpose well. May I ask how you find the noise level of the air purifier 4 Lite (or a suggestion for you to compare the noise levels at the different settings and between different models or other air purifiers)?
I'm holding my Apple Watch Noise app to my air purifier 4's display screen (about 5cm or 2 inches away) at the highest fan setting and the reading is 56 dB.
On the max power it is laudable but on the 70% is ok fine for non stop work. Everything under that i consider super quiet...
I will start to measure noise levels for my future reviews

I am a dog owner and dog hair often floats in the air and sometimes stuck in my throat. I would like to know if this is right one for me. I want an affordable price I'm thinking about whether it's Xiaomi 4 Lite or Levoit 100.
Is this a good option for a smaller sleeping room or is it better to add a little more cash and go for 4/4 pro? What difference do bigger modele have?
This model can cover 50square meters so for small room it is more than enough

Hi just bought this air purifier thanks to your review! I’m having trouble adding it on the mi home app though. I’ve added it manually but I can’t see it on the list of devices so I can’t control it using the app like you are in this video. Any ideas?

4 lite uses a new upgraded 3 layer filter

@@jayemjp Its almost no difference in all specs between 3H and 4 Lite. 3H has OLED touchscreen while 4 Lite has button on top. Not a big deal and personally i like more 4 Lite as touching OLED makes it dirty and also kids love to play with oled display but button on 4lite they cannot even see))). Bascally you can get 3H or 4Lite (do not have 3C so wount say anything about it) and you will get same result.
You didnt mention anything about filter cost and when to change it around?

Since I have this and robot vacuum I can’t recall when last time I manually vacuumed 😅
@@donmarkon I also do have a vacuum robot, but it cannot fly to reach out all flat surfaces in my apartment so I still have to clean em out with my own hands and some piece of cloth from time to time. And over the years I'm becoming lazier and lazier :)
