hi! and thanks for the vid! why should one pick the 4 over the 4 lite (i am not talking about the PRO version) ? is there any other difference apart from a slightly larger area coverage and the OLED display?
(mentioned at the later part of the video) It has an ionizer which Xiaomi says it can kill viruses. It's like the wearable air purifier. But, personally i don't believe ionizer can stop viruses outside laboratory testings. Please subscribe. Thanks
@@HiTechTaBai ionizer only reduces odors (like cigarette smoke)... uv-c light kills some viruses but this light is harmful if it leaks out of purifier in some way.

I wanted to know, does the normal Xiaomi Smart Air purifier 4 filter work with the Lite purifier model
I don't think so. The Lite is smaller than the normal 4. The Lite has its own filter. Please subscribe . Thanks
Samsung AX40R3030WM is a new model or not. ? And wich one is better ? I have a winix pro but i will a diffrent one
I think that's older than the one in this video. It's released in 2017 and also not a smart air purifier.
Do you need a Negative ION generator, as Mi Air Purifier 4 offers, in my country 4 is $50 more than Lite, is it worth adding up ?!
Based on studies, negative ion generators work effectively inside laboratory settings but its efficacy in real environment is not proven yet. I wouldn't recommend adding if budget is an issue. Please subscribe . Thanks.

How is the xaomi 4 lite so far ? Do you still have strange pollution detection readings? Or it seems accurate? No way to change fan speed using buttons? Thanks alot
That strange detection is probably due to bad air from outside since my windows are open most of the time. You can control the fan if you set to manual mode. Controlling the speed is thru the app only. Thanks. Please subscribe.
Subscribed thanks . Is there a way to silence the beeping sound it makes when pressing buttons or changing settings . Did you figure out why it didn't detect the chicken frying ? Lol
@@ramis7933 There's no mute button to silence the device when pressing buttons. The sensor won't sound off if cooking fumes is not that bad.
@@HiTechTaBai so the mute notification option is for something like the sensor alarm when numbers are high?
@@ramis7933 I believe it's only for Push Notification on your phone when it sense bad air. The device will still sound off an alarm if you automate it with another device like a hub, which i did.
So is it vest to put the air purifier on 24/7 on automatic mode right?
Yes.
Nice Video!👍 The sensors on air purifiers are not accurate and cannot be trusted, IMO. The Xiaomi filter has carbon come last in the filtration process and this is not a good idea as you will get carbon in the air you breathe.😐

bro does it catches dust and dog hair ? i am planing to buy mi 4 lite i live near road side most of the time i open the window i catches more dust in my home is worth buying them for cleaning dust in air ?
'Catches'-- i can't confirm that but based on my daily use, also shown in the video, fine dust suspended in the air can be detected by the Mi Air Purifier.
@@HiTechTaBaiok sir thanks can you confirm me one thing using mi air purifier does it creates air dryness that causes eye irritation, eye dryness and dry throat. Is that true . Did you face anything like that
@@kumaravel-xp8mp There are studies about it but it's not noticeable as far as my experience. What causes dryness in the air is using dehumidifier at long periods but not really air purifiers.

You should first install the Mi Home app on your phone--either android or iOS.
Can the air purifier remove odors?
It is supposed to remove odor. In my case, as i demonstrated in the video i supported it with an exhaust fan.
everything ok with this review two mistakes lite version do not have RFID tag filter (only 4 and 4 pro ) and ion same thing
Thanks for pointing out. When i said 'both' have ion generators @25:00, i meant the two other higher models. This is supported by the accompanying video.
For the RFID tag, maybe i was wrong in concluding all Air Purifier 4 filters are made equal. I stand corrected if Lite's filter is not RFID-tagged. Thanks. Please subscribe.
I got mine two days ago and it always shows perfect air quality and thus I am starting to wonder why I even bought it. I mostly got it for my dog hair / smell and kitchen smell but it doesn’t really work for either …
I believe air purifiers can not totally eliminates bad odor in our homes. Your range hood is your first line of defense in your kitchen. In my case, i complemented it with an exhaust fan as part of my ventillation system. I have videos about range hood and exhaust fan which discuss bad air in our homes. You may watch the videos. I don't have. I only purchased and reviewed items that i actually need in the house.

Too bad Samsung only offers smart home integrity on AX60
Do you think the test is not fair because the xiami sucked it up before the samsung could even detech it?
The test is not done in a clinical setting. Hence, i am not saying one is better than the other when it comes to detecting. That's just the result of my own test.
