My sister had a holiday romance in Filey with a bloke who fed us blue ribbons to keep us quiet while we gooseberried

My word takes me back...., always disliked em myself even when they showed up in my lunch box, I had a standing Swap deal set up for exchange to a Twix from a kid I knew haha.
They always seemed stale if I remember correctly, though may have been the Supermarket's stock rotation though back in those days xD

In warehouses stuff is stored for weeks . I was a packer in the factory in Barnsley that makes tubs of sandwich filling ( Iceland, Asda , Morrisons etc) . They are stored for a day or two before they are sent to shops.Same with the cooked meat down the road, a week .
