The perfection is called Damien Rice, I have so many feelings rn and watch him, the perfect BBC live, omg just so eargasmic ever. 💚
Jude Law's eyes looking into Natalie Portman's, and in the background that amazing tune, i searched on the net, and Damien's name came up.. since then (2004) i have not stopped listening to this man's brillance, i am a big music fan, and he is my favourite artist ever.
I remember hearing The Blower's daughter in Closer for the first time and it was like the time stopped really and I immediately had to search this guy up.

9 Crimes, Rootless Tree, The Blowers Daughter, Amie, The Professor, Delicate, Elephant, Accidental Babies, Eskimo and Older Chests are just some of the songs made me want to play guitar and write songs so seeing him writing a new album since the last in 2006 is an amazing feeling i'm sure many people share :)

I know, but when I say 'new' I mean anything that isn't his Lowden haha. Don't get me wrong, I love Martins, but that Lowden is part of him.
I agree with you. But along his career he already used this Martin several times (e.g On the basement sessions ; another on the live at Le Poisson Rouge in New York City ; and also another one featuring Ray Lamontagne ; etc..) He also have a Taylor which he used for example on the 2008 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductions performing Aleluia. Cheers

Genius - a piece of soul in every song
Once getting into Damien's music, can't really figure out what the most are doing as self-proclaimed musicians. Music has always been no more a media through which one expresses their thinking, emotions etc. but unfortunately too many are just too obessesed with ear pleasure, leading to lack of substance.
