That’s a pretty headbands. In my case this month did use retail therapy as a coping mechanism but talking with my therapist help me to discover the cause and learned from it. Love your reflections and interesting thoughts. 😊
This video was so helpful for me! My only two non-budgeted for items this past month were a video game and a new collar for my dog. Did my dog need a new collar? No, his old one probably would’ve made it another four or five months but I always worry what would happen if he were to get out and it somehow broke off so I guess I can kind of justify that one (that and he looks very handsome in it lol) The video game I can also I guess justify because it’s one my spouse and I have been waiting to play together and because of it we’ve spent more quality time together this month. Your words at the end about not beating ourselves with a stick over purchases that are technically within our means really helped me, thank you so much ❤️
I broke my low buy this month, so it's actually reassuring to hear that you feel like you made some mistakes too. I think i know why I did it (reaction to previous perfectionism, stressful day feeling a lack of control over my life etc). On the plus side I haven't given up the low buy and still managed to pay off my debt this month (my goal is to get it cleared this year). I did feel guilty and embarrassed but I'm over it now and your video helped!Hopefully I can continue with more of a light hearted attitude for the rest of the year. I also changed my seasonal budget to monthly because I think I'll be able to manage that better. Resisted the urge to punish myself and decided to make it a bit easier which is so unlike me 😅 Must be learning something!
Congratulations on paying off debt and continuing your low buy!! Sounds like your making the effort and making progress. I think we always will make mistakes here and there. No ones perfect. I have also thought to do monthly budgets for everything. I think its easy to loose sight of things when you're busy especially if it's longer term things. Definitely feels easier to focus on things month by month
I love your headbands 😍 I also have quite a collection! I love how they really add to an outfit and complement it.... The shoes are super pretty too 😊 Im thinking to cut my hair to like shoulder length... Its crazy long now. I don't like going to hair salons though and spending all that money.. MWish I could cut my hair myself
Great video! Making me want to count my items in. I would definitely count those 10 socks as 5 pair. I’d never wear one sock so it’s only logical in my opinion.
I stopped fighting emotional spending. I put actual cash in an envelope just for that. I could shop to my heart's content for that amount. I also broke the cycle a few times by just standing up and stepping outside for five minutes and looking at something in the distance. Good luck.

Yay! Happy go hear that
nobody is perfect, the most important is to do the best we can
Totally agree Marie-Pierre!
Guilt and spending is interesting to me. I hope you make a video on that subject. I’d like to hear more about how to make yourself feel content.
I do think I'll make a video about guilt in the next little bit! Glad to know you're up for it

@@exomake_mehorololo thank you for the support! 😊
I'm glad the video was helpful but more importantly I'm glad you're noticing some trends and are making decisions that feel helpful for you!

I cut my own hair because it's very curly and salons scare me 😆 Some good hair cutting tutorials on RUclips. Sharp shears are a must though!
Yes! Love a good headband. Ouu do let us know if you do decide to get that hair cut
i love these videos!

Glad you enjoyed the video! This was my thought as well
