4EverGamer X mine was the stupid amount of rng in it sometimes he would just spam the purple flame as SOON as I entered the book realm I literally had a split second to react each time
You let yourself fall to the ground and if you have enough hp try to make it so when you aerial recover time it so you can get a bit of invincibility from the flames. Then once your on the ground dodge roll or quick slide .
i know this must be so weird commenting on 8 years old post. But I just beat him at level 22 on proud mode, I came here to check how to pass the meteor phase cause i keep on dying and turns out its actually just random and no way to discern where the safe zone will be.. i have to preserve my MP to reflect 3x per guesses, and my wisdom let me dodge it to safe zone once! Thanks for the video!
I just beat Zexion at LV 29 Critical Mode with the kingdom key thanks in part to this video, I couldn't figure out how to predict the safe zone before the meteors hit but thanks to this I learned its random and not preset
Good thing RUclips exists or I would have never learned how to beat this boss. At the part where you have to find the book before he sends meteors I always die and it looks like it's because I'm supposed to stand still when that part happens. I don't know how the game expects me to know that.
(During Zexion's DM) Information: "Find and defeat its real form before it's too late!" ...What? What does that have to do his DM? If it said something like "Keep your eyes on where the spotlight lands!", that would make more sense. (It's a minor complaint, but I just wanted to point it out.)
@@autumn2ashes211 Actually the mode has a lot to do with it. I stated also, he's not playing critical. The mode would show the change in difficulty, and though a sc/om (second chance / once more) have let you live through a combo with 1 hp, the subsequent hits would kill you. Easy mode has a lot to do with it. I didn't state sc / om wasn't a reason for the specific part. I stated it's only part of the reason for the survival, the other part, easy mode.
MCG TheReaper Actually it doesn’t. He got melted on whatever mode he was playing on. Nothing could have killed him because he just cured immediately after. So no, the mode actually means absolutely NOTHING in this specific situation.
Ugh, I'm trying this on crit. I can always get him down to his last bar, but when he sends me into the book for the last time he just spams me with shit.
Emilia Carr It's an exclusive to KH2 final mix. It was out for a long time but only in Japan so now it's global, everyone can fight against the whole organization 13.
This fight on critical is literally almost impossible. If you get anti Sora you're dead. If you get stuck in his book lair your dead. If you get stuck in his circle guess and don't get that split second guess you're dead. If you get hit by that weird fire thing. Dead. Get hit with all the flying books at once? Dead. Widdled him down to almost nothing but you didn't use a finisher so you can't use dispel. Also I'll never forgive them for making healing cost ALL OF YOUR MANA. Literally the DUMBEST thing they could change for the spells. It made an already difficult Mana intensive spell EVEN MORE Mana intensive making magic focused runs VERY hard.
You suck at this game if you think we need to be able to spam cures lol. It’s already such an easy game and you want it to be easier because you aren’t good enough to beat an optional boss? Bye lmao
Using reflect while being close to his book can cause him to be expellable from his world instantly, you can actually get out of the book world in 5 seconds if: You use reflect 1 second after getting in His book is close you you He uses purple flames Damage are reflected on his book Press triangle
I tried fighting him on Critical a few nights ago back when I was playing Episode 1 of Olympus at like level 16 to 18 (first time playing FM btw, played the original KH2 yeeaaaars ago) and got pretty frustrated with his blue fire attack, spent half an hour trying to find a way to get past it only to give up, look it up, and realize that I pretty much *need* Reflect if I wanna survive that. I tried again last night right after getting Reflect and got pretty far (1 and 1/2 HP bars left), but then he did the spotlight attack and the way it flashed back and forth with no animation gave me too much anxiety especially because I thought I had to catch it instead of waiting until it stopped, and I died
Snarly Animal anti form is the reason, why i died 953 times at critical mode. and its only main game+2 as (that one and Larxene). Healless, defenceless and has kinda ok dodge.
Sure, it has a better combo attack and running speed. But in major side effect, anti Sora cannot perform magic, summon, using items, reaction command and unable to revert to his original form.
Can anybody tell me how was it possible that i turned into a heartless sora form when im etill only just lvl 15 and just got the hero's crest. I had the auto valor on thing but i turned into heartless sora
Smickles Yeah, i think that changing into a form(except Final) adds 1 AP(anti-point), going into one during a boss fight adds like 5, and during an organization battle adds 10. You can decrease them to 0 when you get a new form or by 10 whenever you turn into Final Form
So when is it recommended to take this guy on? I'm playing on critical mode, I'm at level 21, and I just beat Timeless River. It looks like if I level up Wisdom form to get the dash, I'll be okay, but I got to the meteor part and got destroyed. Plus the fire move pretty much kills me in one hit, forcing to either waste cure or go into a drive to get Invincibility Frames just to live it. Anyone got any pointers?
Which difficulty? If you are playing on critical, I would recommend to be on level 40. It's not impossible, but it's easier if you have high jump, dodge roll or/and quick run and aerial dodge!
I was playing on Critical Mode. I ended up beating him at level 29. It's really just about learning how book world works and having Wisdom form leveled in order to get Quick Run. Thanks for the reply though :)
I managed to do it at 26 on Proud mode (chose the Dream Sword). Cost me 1 hour of failed attempts tho strategy is more important than level (people do this at level 1 on critical). However, if you're having a hard time, you should wait with this fight until level 50 or so also, if you can't find the right light during his meteor attack (I suppose you don't have dodge roll yet), REFLECT

I find it really cool that Anti-Sora has his own sprite for when he's trapped in a book. The attention to detail in this game is astounding.
all of the forms have a different sprite. it happened to me too when I used wisdom form
Every time he does that attack in book world where the books constantly shoot those blue-purple flames... I always die
You let yourself fall to the ground and if you have enough hp try to make it so when you aerial recover time it so you can get a bit of invincibility from the flames. Then once your on the ground dodge roll or quick slide .
You could also use Reflect to prevent the heavy damage/instant kill from the purple flames.
