something put together in 5 minutes when we heard the camera crew were coming...then deleted after they left.
@Steve, your father was a man who helped so many people, myself included.
Sad to hear Ron has passed away. He gave me my first studio technician job when I left school in 1985. He helped me for many a years afterwards. I remember so many artist and bands rehearsing in that building, along with some unsavioury charecters that popped in lol, you know he had the connections lol. RON REST IN PEACE, Steve, i'm very proud to have known Ron, my mate... I'm still a technician....
song that cuts in at 50 seconds....hot damn, gotta love the 90's
@SteveoMagician
Yes Steve, knew Ron well, very well, Ron was JUMBO studios, he helped us out loads. Say hi to him from the REINFORCED boys.
Hey Steve, I was thinking of Ron just yesterday as I was in Chapter Rd for the first time in years. I spent a lot of time at Jumbo in the late 1980's. He was a really decent guy and I'm really sorry to hear that he'd died.
Cool video too.
@4herotv I would but a little sad news for you he passed away in 2008.. 1st heart attack. Was a very big shock to the family. But I just wanted to find out a little more about his past. When I searched the web on anything about Jumbo I couldnt find anything out about it.. And thats when I came across your video.
@funkeebassman Oh I am. When I realised how much he has done with his life and on tour with various people and all the stuff hes achieved. It makes me more proud to have been his son. I just didnt know him aswell as I should of. We were more like best mates drinking together n working together. I have no regrets with my dad apart not asking him enough about his time before my mum.

@funkeebassman Well the 1st time I saw the studio since we moved was on the tele when I was watching something with n dubz. They went there n said thats where they started coz dappys dad Byron used to work there aswell.. And thats when my mum told me that my dad knew there dad well and all this stuff. I didnt even realise how many people used that studio coz I was brought up with it all i never paid any attention. So only now am i interested. Its pretty sad.
