Kanami is actually playing a very complex arpeggiated rhythm part under MISA's bass, which is actually playing lead. You can even hear Miku on power chord rhythm. Just amazing musicianship.
You’re right, BAND MAID never fails. Here are my favorites you should check out: Alone Domination Choose Me BTW, they will release a new single, Bubble, on the 16th. They played it on Fri last week (live at Studio Coast in Tokyo) and, it was soooo gooood!! They yet did it again!!
Thanks for nice video as usual. Let me say, I was at Studio Coast in Shinkiba, Tokyo, on 11th January! It was BAND-MAID and it was a live music. Need to say anymore? I think I was smiling like a fool for full two hours. And now remembering it gives me some tears of joy. Hope you all have some chance to see them this year. (Sorry for my English)
@1957 Akash So you heard the live debut of 'Bubble'? I totally agree, the do not disappoint with their live concerts. It's one great song after another in rapid succession.
@Rick Wagner To be honesty, it was too exciting for me to keep precise memories. So now I'm googling the setlist (lol) Yes, they did Bubble. www.livefans.jp/events/962873 And in intros for some (two or three) songs, Kanami played electric piano. She also played acoustic guitar which was set on some stand, while slinging her PRS, in another song's intro. And (YES I remember), in Play, the solos (or 'battle' or 'exchanging bars') were longer than ever and full of drum parts! I was kicked by Akane to heaven. In the evening, Saiki had a time to speak to cloud. She spoke about the world tour and the special 'katakana' T-shirts etc. Her voice was cute when she speaks calmly.
Guys, this is "MUST" to react: matchless GUM by Band Maid ruclips.net/video/o6gg1wmsNqA/видео.html This live performance is truly one of kind, I promise. BTW, new song by Band Maid, Bubble, was released a few hours ago. Are you guys working on it??
World's best rock band hands down. They need to get on Late Night with Steven Colbert or a musical guest spot on Saturday Night Live. With exposure they can easily become the greatest hard rock band on the planet today. Jimmy Page loves them and so do l.
I think the problem with BAND MAID is that they have too many great songs, that kind of bury their even good ones, or they don't have enough time in their concerts to play. For example, it's kind of hard to find live videos of them playing good songs like Anemone, Arcadia Girl or Screaming. Btw, in case you ever want to try out another kind of J-Rock awesomeness, I recommend Drop's : こわして (Break) or GLIM SPANKY : ダミーロックとブルース (Dummy Rock n Blues).
Drop's studio session. I don't know the name of the song because it is written in kanji. They rock. All female Japanese. At least check them out personally. Thanks again 😎
Drop's is one of my present big 3 together with BABYMETAL and BAND-MAID. There are 3 studio sessions by Drop's now, "こわして”(Kowashite : "Break it" or "Destroy!"), "新しい季節”(Akarashii Kisetsu" : "New Season") and "空はニューデイズ"("Sora Wa New Days" : "The Sky Is Of New Days" or like "I see new days in the sky")
I have noticed with Band Maid's live shows, some of the video editing is poor. Too many quick cuts and as in this case, we see as much of Saiki's legs as we see Kanami play her guitar. Not just this song but Misa, maybe doing some good bass runs but we are looking anywhere than her bass and fingers, gliding over the frets. I often think not just with Band Maid but other groups, the video editor does not know the songs at all. It appears they work to a formula where individual members of the band get two seconds each, then a crowd shot, then glide across the front of the stage from left to right, overhead shot next, etc, etc, all independent of what is actually happening on the stage. You have many other suggestions for your next Band Maid reaction, so i will not suggest anything and thank you for your reaction videos. More BlackPink! :-)
That's true, I wrote about it a few months ago, when I saw for the first time fragments of their last DVD from the concert (April 13, 2018), and then, more broadly, when I got my copy. Sound production is really good, but video ... One who is suffering from epilepsy should be warned, because there is a shock dose of stimuli that can cause them to relapse. Excess light effects and a complete lack of attempts to deal with that by the video producer also cause that the flashes of light alternated with the rapid obscuration of part of the image. Added to this is a "dynamic", or rather chaotic editing. Some people probably like it, but for me it's probably the worst, professional and official video of their concerts I know. Fortunately, the sound is usually high class.
@@viaverde3153 Couldn't agree more and if I had researched further, I may of seen your comment and given credit to it. The audio is very well done as you say.

Kanami's punctuations on the guitar underneath the vocals is nothing short of genius.
