I bought the exact model of watch. Terrific, and is very accurate for the readings and time keeping. I compared it to laboratory instruments for its accuracy. For a consumer type ABC watch it is very acceptable for accuracy. For time keeping the one I have will keep to about +2 seconds per month average if no time signal is received. I like this watch a lot.
Great review, thanks! I just got the GWG-2000-1A5 version in Feb. Love the watch. It looks amazing and even better than the GWG-1000 that I also own. I think the materials used make it a little step up from the 1000 in terms of premium look, and quality. Some reviewers here have said that the compass, baro, and thermometer are inaccurate. The user may need to calibrate those upon receiving the watch, but after that they should remain accurate. And for the temp reading, the watch must be off the user's wrist for at least 20 mins. to get an accurate reading - one not based on the person's body heat. I never had to calibrate mine and the baro has been dead-on accurate ever since I received the watch. It is always within a hundredth of the reading from my local weather station. This is an awesome watch and one that I will be enjoying very much.
I’m not a watch guy, but after watching this , I want this watch, it’s fun, and awesome at the same time, sort of watch that stands out, not boring, think I’ll get one.
I have a small collection of G-Shocks, including my first one, still running great after almost three decades (DW-6600), but my Mudmaster (GWG1000-1A1) gets a LOT of wrist time, due mainly to the fact that it's so wearable--surprisingly light for all its chunkiness. Great watch. Love the channel, btw.
I really like that they made it thinner. Its a must buy for me over a 1000 IF I can figure out if the band will fit, Unlike my protreks it looks like this is going to need an adapter if I need a larger band.
Great review, as usual. I never bought the GWG-1000; too big. But I bought the GWG-2000 as soon as it came out. Better materials, lighter, better LCD screen.

I needed a new rugged all-around watch and I was deciding between this new GWG-2000 and older GWG-1000, which I saw on my friends wrist and was amazed. I decided to get a new GWG-2000-1A3 but I returned it the same day. Then I was lucky enough to find older GWG-1000-1A3 on stock for good price the next day. The difference between GWG-2000 and GWG-1000 is like night and day. Older GWG-1000 model is better, according to my opinion in following areas: 1. Wrist comfort: Old GWG-1000 is much more comfortable on my wrist. The newer 2000 has smaller footprint on the bottom part and it has these edges, that stick out more opressing my wrist bone to the level of discomfort - this was main deal braker for me. 2. Dial visiblity: Worse on newer GWG-2000, less white color on dials, more grey, smaller dial, time zones in inner part distracts readability of the clock. 3. The looks: This is subjective but for me new GWG-2000 looks more toy-like, 1A3 has too much busy colors, it has less presence on the wrist, too thin (easily dissapears under sleeve), for me it didn't feel like a Mudmaster flagship.
Is GWG 2000 all series have the same features? And what are differences? Only Color ? Because I saw there is different prices of each model of GWG 2000 models

I bought for $730 only in Tokyo Japan
Sapphire Crystal nice
What is the price in euro
I'm curious what gloves are you wearing 😉
From decathlon
@@jackabula thank you
great video. I want one.
I've got a 9.5" wrist. Do you think the band would fit? Not I have a rangemaster and it just fits while my dwg-5600 is just about to small on my wrist so I wear it on a cheap Chinese combi bracelet. that I had to buy 2 of since they didn't offer extra links. I'd buy the casino one but I can't find a shop that offers extra links and I'd hate to buy that one twice.
Max 8.25" wrist on last strap hole. Same with the GWG-1000
R/C will not reach my home location, and temp/altimeter measurements are not exacting. The florescent dial is so weak it's useless. Still, the feature set of temp/altimeter/compass make the watch useful for rule of thumb long-range rifle shooting calculations.
Why they didn't add bluetooth to this. I don't know. Not much of an upgrade.
No Mexico Time zone?!
I’m hoping for a good deal on Black Friday
@Ernie H thanks
The only real difference is it's looks. The 1000 was obviously Casio's first and best choice of the GWG design. This design didn't make the first cut .This one strays away too much from that awesome military tactical look..
I know right? also I don't know why but something's with the metallic ring that is off to me :S
i have 2000 and like it
@@fike301 Wow . My name is Chris Fike ! I have a brother and father named James Fike.
@@MisterRz Yes it looks tacky , the large orange plastic piece on it too makes it look cheap too.
Can it connect to Bluetooth ?
I think it can but I'm not 100%. I do remember reading but can't remember for certain.
True north? Seems to me its Magnetic North.
1000 looks much more buff than the 2000
amazing =)
Wow
❤️
I had no clue this was a made in thailand model. I assumed japan!! Hmmmmmm
I just got today one ☝️ exactly
It honestly looks like a mess with the clashing design elements. The other monotone colorway isn't that garish, but I'd still pick the GWG-1000.
Nice watch but I'll stick with my GWG-1000 1A1
Do you find it hard to read? Dark markers and lack of lume.
@@Smood47 not at all. I use this watch during the night as well and I never have any problems reading the time from it. The hands light up quite a bit in the darkness compared to my Gravitymaster GRB200-1A2
