Dana - This is really lovely playing with lots of feeling in that beautiful tone of yours. I will keep my eyes on your next project. I also dabble in my little home studio and have a number of my own recordings on my vintage Conn 70H Bass, ( I love my Trombones ) my recordings are mostly George Roberts inspired as I had no real style of my own I could call style, George's recordings helped me take that leap of faith to record and create my own RUclips channel which, I was really nervous about at first, but so relieved I did. I hope you can find a minute to take a peak. I'll no doubt see you dotting around on the Forum. best Alan ( UK )
They're the best. They each bring their A game to whatever gig they play. I can't keep track of how many lineups I've seen them in. Always a great pleasure! And I'm thrilled to be introduced to your trombone.
Thank you. But there was no arrangement, per se. We did this cut as an afterthought, and recorded it in one take with no rehearsal. I wrote out a basic roadmap for it, but it's really just a very standard jazz format. Head, solos, recapitulation from the bridge, and end.
Hi Dana, real lovely expressive playing, I know from the forum that you would like to hear more individuals own recordings, I have several home recordings of my own playing on my Conn 70H bass from 1952 using a DE LBK 114 mouthpiece, I hope you might get a chance to have a listen to them, mostly inspired by Mr. Roberts. I agree we need a section dedicated to forum members to post and share their recordings. Thanks, Alan ( UK )
Really nice! Smooth, clean jazz. You don’t find that very often anymore. I’m looking for the album. Thank you for being a great trombonist!! 💜
Bravo!!!
Really nice Dana!
Very nice!

Awesome tribute, Dana!
You’re beautiful Dana!
Love your style! Can you share whose arrangement you're playing?
