- Bitcoin Mining moving into 2024 will require remote hosting. That means running bitcoin mining hardware that YOU own in someone else's facility who can get much cheaper electricity than you. They take a little for their trouble while still saving you TONS of money.

Great Video Nick! Don't hate on me and my electric rate! lol Well Done!
No hate:) Just pure, deep envy…
@@SPACEDESIGNWAREHOUSE haha! Love it
Good info to have. I'm lucky so far because I'm making most the power I need right now. 😀
shiiit. i pay 9 cents in Canadian dollars at a residential rate which is like 6.55 cents USD
Hosting is a completely trust based solition, if you study Bitcoin youll see that trust is obsolete. You could have a contract on chain that verifies payouts or your money back, instead its 100% trust me bro. a simple htlc could be used but nah. thats not what its all about
Interestingly, showing support for a hosting company on my channel is highly trust based also! They could completely destroy my credibility and years of work if they screw people over. Luckily, I’ve come to know these people personally and my trust extends to them.
Also, cheap electricity is important right now and they have legal contracts.
I'd like to work with them, but it is not advertised on their website that they "would" accept a MOQ of 1 or 3. I've had to look elsewhere, unfortunately.
Yep, you'd have to reach out to them through email for really small MOQs.
I'm hosting 3 XPs with them and couldn't be happier. 👍
They're taking 5.5% interest on the upfront payment?
No interest. They’re simply asking you to pay for your first month in advance.
They charge a flat rate of 8 cents per kilowatt hour and nothing else.
@@SPACEDESIGNWAREHOUSE sorry I meant if I was them I'd throw that up front money in CDs to earn some good interest while I hold the prepaid electric.
This is actually a pretty darn good deal. But what's in it for them? Profit from the Electricity price difference?
That’s correct. They get the electricity a little cheaper, charge you a couple of Pennie’s per hour, you STILL get it way cheaper than you could at home and everyone gets to make money! It’s actually a great service all around.
