Im a returning player. The fact that we dont need to farm and pray for boss armor drop anymore is awesome. I will buy 100% of my gear of the market tbh. I have nightmare about the early days when you needed to die with reblath? gear +15 to do failstack. This game looks good in 2024 tbh
As someone who only played 200 hours of BDO, I was flabbergasted by 2:06 onwards, in all honesty, I didn't realise there was any social functions in BDO at all, I often described my experience as a single player game with other people just floating around in my world, and its the primary reason I dropped the game, I didn't realise guilds was even a thing, in fact I didn't realise there were any social functions other than an argumentative world chat, I might have to come back with a new approach
I've been away from this game since my xbox days; at least 4 years lol. I'm a solo and this is SAO all over again. Great and helpful video. Thank you so much!
You should specify that some of these great items you get, or buy, you can’t even use on a seasonal character. I’m not sure why . Do I need to graduate from season? Sucks to go through a whole questline when the big prize can’t be used. I have bought stuff on market, and it isn’t usable.
@@ClarkBent68 definitely google , ask questions, Evildousharm on Twitch & RUclips does allot of New Player content & guides to help people out. Plus finding a guild run by vets that is focused on helping New & Returning players learn the game is super helpful as well.
I'm a new player of six months and I keep getting side tracked with life skilling. I'm level 60 and I'd say about 56 of those levels gained were through life skilling. I just finished the Mediah quest line. My question is: When should I graduate my character? Should I play through the entire main questline with my season character then graduate? All my gear has been Pen Tuvala for awhile now when I discovered I could exchange the ores for the gear. I didn't even bother upgrading Naru when I found this out. Anyways, great vids and keep it up.
I have always wanted to get into this game but it seems so daunting to even get started but I do like what I have played. I just have no idea what to main T_T
Take an hour to watch a video of all classes and their playstyles. And pick the one to main that makes you go "that's fucking dope" because that's the one you should main.
Can you please tell me how to get seasonal tickets I don't have any n I just graduated my character n it was my second seasonal character I don't understand why I don't have any more seasonal tickets Can u please explain to me if I have to wait or buy more???
You’ll have to wait, they release the tickets without a “fixed” schedule, I’m guessing they will give a new one once they release the new class in a couple months
I've been wondering what to write to you :P. I've been playing BDO for like 2 years less than John and with a lot lower efficiency (is why I am not making guide videos, showing off how I progressed... because In relevant comparison I didn`t... but that is something he have talked about) There is one thing you should have "inflated" your video with like 10 additional minutes with... The Crystals. (Now I know low end crystals are soon sustaining a major change - merge into each other somehow) I am aware you have separate videos on that. But Crystals as it turns out are of your character power @ any stage. I can confidently claim that, because of personal observation. Here`s how it happened: I have (same as John) Characters that are equipped and "conserved" just ~sitting there for ~months at a time not used... But my crystal presets on the other hand ~Because my ~in game BDO budged ~increased (because better income of better grind) I could afford to "remake" my crystal presets with fancier Crystals and than because of the 3 Crystal Per Year reimburse policy that recently got implemented (well and admittedly prior to that as well) I got braver on using my Expensive presets (or rather I were left with no cheap ones) on all of my Characters when I've decided to use them. And some of them, as previously mentioned, being with "conserved" or ~"unchanged" gear... just out of the Crystal Kick "infused" into them... felt like ~incomparably more powerful and thus gameplay viable than before. I am not saying to expect miracle... But do consider your ~budged and think of what crystals will make your character of choice better ~more pleasant and efficient to use wherever and for whatever you use it.
I’m 120 hours in, I still have no idea what I’m doing. 100’s of items that seem important, but no idea how to use them. Killing monsters and bosses is fun, but everything else just makes me frustrated. All the systems , even upgrades , are made to be confusing and difficult.

You can use them when you graduate, season character is fo beginners to do the main story line wich is 100% done with season items
This information is 💯
Best way to start off here if you're new.
Thinking about coming back. Thanks for the video. Peace

How are you life skilling on a seasonal character???

started yesterday. overwealming but very good mmo.
If you're a new player, find another game.
Why?

450 hours on my 3 characters lvl61, working on a Musa for my 4th.
This shit is more confusing than Archeage was and that was abysmal. Still not going to quit tho.
