G1 vs sentinels at Orlando could’ve been like the first game, that’s prolly the most insane comeback in recent modern halo esports
It’s unfortunate how that game wasn’t on main stage and it was the earliest game of the day, so less people tuning in to watch. I don’t think that one even had casters for it

I had an exact win like ambush vs str8 rippin but in halo infinite. We were down 37-47 on pit slayer, and we just kept spawn trapping to win 50-49. Team’s hype was unreal.
Pit gives the space to slow down and reset for a comeback like that unlike a lot of the smaller maps that are standard to Halo Infinite.
oddly enough I actually agree with these three being the best comebacks in Halo history -- the H5 Worlds comeback was arguably the most impressive because it led to Allegiance winning $500k, so the stakes were highest there
And an EU team took a map off of CLG

IIRC that Ambush vs Str8 series from WR3 of MLG Orlando '08 also had someone in the crowd turning off TVs or console on mainstage which caused games to be replayed. I remember Pucket or Sundance threatening to tickle the person's kneecaps or something if they caught them. Here is the game 5 VOD in case anyone is interested in watching:

Also, no mention of Carbon's reverse 5-1 on Agency from early '07 should be a sin.
This was the next day (Sunday) when we played them in continuation in Losers Bracket. We got a lead on Pit King or CTF like 2 or 3 different times, and every time someone turned off the monitors. Fun times. They had to move the rest of our match to main stage.

@@HeinzJri might be in the minority, but at that time, Pit King of the Hill was one of my favorites to play. 😅
We got a BIG lead every time on Pit KOTH and TVs would miraculously shut off 😂
How about going into Sunday, getting the quick cap on Narrows Flag thinking we were gonna beat them again and then getting 3-0ed. To this day I’ve never experienced what I felt after that comeback, it was a special moment.

Carbon Dallas 2009 I think. They were down 4-0 to str8 ripping on Heretic (midship) flag. And won the game. Naded was epic at this event. My favorite team of all time. Shockwave, Ghostayame, Walshy, and Naded. 3 amazing halo minds, and objective players, with an unbelievable sniper in his prime. The best.
I actually think that was Defy instead of Ghoastayme though. Could be wrong.

I remember playing btb after this and got in a lobby with ninja. He was nice about answering questions, surprised to hear he used a basic controller (thinking he used elite/scuf)

MLG DC 2010 - Final Boss vs Dynasty. Final Boss needs to win a bo11 after getting 3-0d by Dynasty on Saturday. They make the comeback and hit Clutch with the Choke chant 😂

@@CRiles694 yeah, definitely surreal that I used to watch Ninja and talk to him in chat when he was playing Reach 1v1s for like 300 viewers, then I see his face on t-shirts at Walmart a few years later lol
@@darkside7802 actually he was pretty good at H3 1v1s at least, he attended one of the MLG events (Dallas?) and won a Dr. Pepper 1v1 for a couple thousand dollars. Definitely wasn't great at 4v4 though
