      Democracy….. ahhh. Don’t you just LOVE IT ! ? A land where government DOES what the people actually WANT & NEED ! Oh dear…You NEVER had that mate. NEVER will. BECAUSE…You have the WRONG political system. Maybe it was a good idea 300 years ago, but not for today nor tomorrow. It generally attracts the wrong sort of people for a start!. I mean, just look at their schoolyard behaviour where “point scoring” put-downs of other elected members of parliament is considered a “win”! Essentially most of them are “bully salesmen” who try to persuade and bribe you, that ONLY THEIR ideas are great (vote for MEEEE). Sadly, ALL parties do the same - Was designed to be like that !! The notion that ALL the PEOPLE HAVE CLEAR NEEDS is not even considered!!. Another childhood dream is that “Competition” yields the best results! This has some truth, but only in the very short term!. COOPERATION YIELDS THE BEST CONTINUOUS SUSTAINABLE IMPROVEMENTS. JUST PROGRESS LIKE YOU’VE NEVER SEEN BEFORE
      Establish a national “Register of Visions” summarising the Will of the People. (Health, Housing, Education, Employment, Crime & Safety, Drugs, Immigration, Taxation, Societal Cohesion, Foreign Affairs, Welfare, Trade & Industry, etc etc ). A register Established at census time for each Voter - with real-time Web access for timely updates like Gaza, Ukraine etc etc ad nauseam. And don’t worry, AI will make short work of creating a succinct coherent unambiguous statement of requirements from the millions of Vision submissions! Certainly a BETTER WAY for the Nation. (Unless of course you are already part of the 1% thriving/thieving elite , then yes, you will experience a relative decline in your unwarranted privilege, decadence and legalised theft!).
      At the moment, China looks remarkably democratic when compared with you lot !

      Conservatives since 2010. Brought in gay marriage, hate speech laws, essentially universal basic income in the gise of universal credit, increased NHS funding, withdrew forces from both Afghanistan and Iraq, failed to bring back grammer schools, increased taxes on the middle class, continued to allow mass immigration, campaigned against Britain leaving the EU and didn't even bring back fox hunting after 14yrs and the biggest majority since the 1930s. To say the Conservatives have gone too far right is him being deliberately obtuse.

    The problem is with most Political Parties these days is they’re all self serving! Sometimes when they make statements, they say “we will do this in the Interests of this Country” when what they should be saying is, “ we will do this in the Interests of the people of this Country”, there is a big difference, that none of them seem to pick up on!!

  • @bluegoose7832
    @bluegoose7832 8 месяцев назад +17

    They dont even deserve 2nd for what they've done to this country.
    Frankly Labour have also contributed to the state we are in, but the Tories have had 14 years to do something, anything, and instead all they've done is make things infinitely worse. They've done such a horrible job that I genuinely think these people need to be held accountable and be put on trial for the damage they've caused. Tens of thousands of lives lost due to their policies and budget cuts, the complete collapse of public services and the erosion of infrastructure, it can all be traced to the Tories. We are now essentially a few years away from becoming a third-world country, and they should face the consequences for that.

    Since New Labour came into government in 1997, increasingly so, there's a yearning from some right and left wing voters, for their respective political parties to be ideologically pure. The Labour party suffered the first with this political puritanism, with the election Jeremy Corbyn and the far left wingers in control of the Labour party. Now it's the Tories turn, with far right wingers trying to gain control of the Tory party. I think this need from some voters for the Labour or Tory party to be ideologically pure is caused by the culture wars and the mass immigration into the UK and other European countries.

    The Tories should not be scared of his absurd posh caricature, this political failure, this serial liar. They could shout out his lies and his never ending obsession with an ever purer failed Brexit. But instead they ran towards him and put their very party at risk. Brave Tories would reposition as centrists and deny Farage's lies.

    This Sunak government and the Starmer Labour Party has pushed the average Brit to be more right of their so called political position. Real British people have found themselves desperate to be listened to and not to be cast aside in favour of left wing woke politics that Sunak and Starmer represent. We are sick of the 2 party system.

    The whites are voting Farage because Sunak is Indian think about it. All reform supporters say racist things about Sunak on social media.
    Since Boris left the supporters did say the cancelling and Tice took advantage and used the boats and Rwandan policy and kept saying that Sunak is lying.
