Hated 8 tracks. IMHO cassettes were the best music storage medium of all time. Small size yet held a lot of music, the song wasn't interrupted in the middle of it with the click click, the sound was incredible, and they rarely went bad. Oh, and the music was always on it unless you copied over it.
@@billmalec These thumb drives are just too cool, puts cassettes and all tapes to shame, and holds all the music you will ever need with digital clarity.
@@billmalec ROTFLMAO, Bill I have been around since the dinosaurs. I do agree with that, but it is a nice trade off. Your favorite tape doesn't wrap around the wheel or melt from the sun or wear out. The digital (crap) when you copy it, sounds as good as the original and since they have no moving parts lasts a long time. Also you can fit all the music you love on one thumb drive. So the little you lose going to digital is worth it and you have a darn good ear if you can tell the difference. Believe me, I am as old fashion as they come.
Nice, informative video! Anytime I remove the intake on a Silvy, I always replace the oil pressure sender while I'm there. Fairly inexpensive, and invariably it'll fail shortly afterwords if you don't.🤨

Hello I’m having issues with my ks the code keeps coming back replaced with factory parts from Chevy dealer ohm them out tested everything cleaned pcm no break in wires (tested mv with key on ) and still keeps coming back 😮
I'm in the middle of this knock sensor swap. I have seen lots of videos or forums either make a "U" shape dam to divert water or come up just short of going around the perimeter of the rubber plug. I never understood why. Also my rear had some standing water that pitted the sensor boss. I'm using a .750" Speedi-Sleeve to repair the seal surface.
I feel like if you gave a basic lesson in electrical diag theories/practices; certain people may actually retain some info. That's me, I am certain person. I've spent thousands on electrical programs, and have a fair share of some electrical diag and repair; but some stuff just doesn't keep 😂😂 electrical has always been my weak point. Good show sir..
I have an 05 Silverado. I've seen videos where the knock sensors fail repeatedly, even when sealed up. I made two standoffs and mounted one knock sensor on each head in unused bolt holes, out in the open. It looks like it came that way from GM.
Blend motor actuator is jammed on it. BCM is trying to get it to a known position, but it is not responding correctly. Needs to be stripped and cleaned, or replaced, but a bit hard to get to.
I watched few videos. They are great easy to understand and you don’t leave any details out . I have 2006 gmc Savana 5.3 L v8 , had the knock sensor and wire replaced with GM part from dealership. After 500 miles code po332 bank2 low circuit show up. What does low circuit mean ? Can another wire from harness , fuse box or connector that bad , cause a voltage problem and effect the ECM then also effect the knock sensor ? If yes , what wire or fuse box do this ?
The knock sensor monitors the combustion process in the engine. Its signal helps the engine control to prevent knocking combustion and therefore protect the motor/engine control.
In the 4x4 actuator.. from 99 to 02 there's two thin wires that corrode and fall apart.. twist them back together or replace wires it will save a lot those things are expensive for such an easy fix 03 and up replace the tone ring.. the switch inside the dash never really go bad
do you know if a bad o2 sensor could make the knock sensor throw a code? im asking because I didn't have a knock sensor code but had o2 sensor codes and bought the cheap ones on line and replaced all of them 5 months ago now getting 1 o2 sensor code and a knock sensor code. thanks for taking the time to post these videos.

Sounds like an actuator trying to close in the HVAC system but it's broken and it just keeps going and going and going the body control module will continue to try and close the actuator on the HVAC system regardless if it's broken or not
I'm on a road trip right now. When I got to the hotel, I decided to check for codes. I have a 2003 GMC SIERRA 1500 4x4. It seems to run OK. It always has the PO452 code, so I decided to check for codes with my Bluetooth FIXD scanner on my phone. A PO332 Code for the knock sensor comes up. I'm 200 miles from home, so I cleared the codes, and only the PO452 Code comes back. I put in some octane boost in the tank, thinking maybe poor quality fuel. When I go back home, I was thinking of filling back up with either mid-grade fuel or premium fuel. I did a lot of mountain driving to get here to this funeral that I come down for. What do you think about this?
I just think it sucks that gm wants you to replace the damn bolts everytime you deal with the intake manifold. I get it, they "stretch", but have you priced them lately? It's a money maker for sure.

I have a 2006 silverado with a 5.3. It started using oil and would have smoke out the tail pipe while starting. The pcv valve turnout to be bad. The only draw back is the driver side valve cover has to be replace. The pcv valve and cover are one piece. That fixed my issue

With LS manifolds with a brake booster hose - disconnect from the booster, not the manifold - easier for removal and install.
