Across 9/10 seasons he's been statistically the best QB ever. Considering the shoulder injury that could have ended him it's a phenomenal achievement. I love watching his play. The way he spreads the ball is masterful.

Nima Scolari between him being undersized, never having a fantastic arm (I’d say probably partially due to his shoulder injury) and not having a Pro Bowl receiver until Thomas in 2017, he’s accomplished a whole hell of a lot. Imagine what he could’ve done with 3 more inches to his height and an arm like Rodgers or Mahomes. Man might be at 600+ TDs and 85k+ yards by now.

hes looking good this year passing wise as he always does he just really needs to hold on to the ball from highlight plays alone that ive seen he has fumbled the ball once at least every game about 3 times against green bay and 2 the game prior hes still performing at an elite level but overall the saints at this moment need to work on hitting people damnit there letting guys get massive yards like there scared to hit people

they kinda use him as a "sure thing runner" a la, 3rd downs, goal line, red zone etc. Saints seems to believe in the concept of versatility where applicable. Taysom /Drew, Kamara/Murray Saunders/Thomas etc.. Saunders is a slants beast ,Thomas big and good hands etc etc.. each of these guys possess specific skills as well as their overall skill. But i do understand and see your point.

Brees has been a joy in New Orleans and to the state of Louisiana. He is the #1 athlete all time in Louisiana and will stay that way for a long time. But sad to say, this game showed me this is without a doubt his last season. Don’t get me wrong he had a good game, but his age is starting to show with the small mistakes and the velocity and just rip on the ball seems lost. Excited for Winston or Hill to take the reigns and start a new era and will always appreciate Brees forever. Whodat for life

      Lil damn you mad?
If you took the time to read at all, you’d see I wasn’t trying to “kick him out the door” like you are claiming. And a few problems with what you are saying are:
      1. “You are expecting to much from a guy who is 41.” Well that’s kind of the point isn’t it? Brees is in a decline, while not crazy, it’s still a noticeable drop off from where he used to be.
      2. 2018, Brees had an average QBR of 80.4 (second highest of his career) a passer rating of 115.3 (second highest of his career). Had 8.2 yards per attempt which was basically the same as last year. Same with yards per game at 266.
So don’t know how you got to “this is better than 2018” cause it’s clearly not.

Four weeks into the season and the Lions continue to give the game away. The Lions score 21 or more points a game but when the opposing team is able to score on multiple drives the defensive coach and coordinators have to make an defensive adjustment because the opposing teams offense has adjusted to the Lions defensive coverage. In game adjustments are very important when it comes to holding onto a lead and keeping the momentum.
