What a great mother and father to watch 2 dogs along with their own dog. Had my son come home for a week with 2 dogs. Had a golden myself and it was intense with those dogs.
Your easy going determination to carry on with your sail dreams is inspirational....keep it up. Cheers
BRILLIANT!!!! Looking forward to the next ten months i'll be with you every step of the way.
All the best from the UK.
Great boat I love it! I wouldn’t have any compunctions about sailing that beauty across ANY ocean assuming favorable weather conditions. That big monohull behemoth will take you places that I’ve only dreamed of. I wish I was going along.
I like this ship! You know. It's exciting!
Off you go Bob ! Hope the trip goes smoothly. Can't wait to see the Doodles !
Hey Bob! The Boat looks great...I can feel the excitement to start another journey. Hope to see you in SF!
A fantastic boat, Bobby! What a great opportunity for you and your lucky crew. Have a fun safe trip and keep the videos coming.
Congrats on the boat! How exciting!!!
Awe man, was hoping to see more of Laura! Best of luck to you Bob! Safe travels and Fair Winds.
Enjoy the trip down the west coast, it can get pretty gnarly in the winter.
Up here in our neighborhood. It can be dangerous up here some times with logs and deadheads. Full enclosures are so great for this area. Will be awesome too when you are in the rain. Beautiful boat!
Just started watching recently and love the show. Miss the Puppies but they do not need to be on a cramped boat . Rock on . Your lucky to have your parents taking them. Mine passed away too early. Enjoy .
Hallelujah! Back on the water ... looking forward to vicarious adventuring again!
Wahoo, My Sosus watch got to go to Comox out of Pacific Beach and fly with the soo kind Canooks what a great time,, they even let us take turns driving the Argus sub hunter. Damn such great memories. Thanx folks!!!!!!
Your life story just keeps getting, better, and better !
wow, I did not realize all our connections, having Serge aboard from Canada, your beautiful lady Laura from close to the Canadian border and I grew up in Courtney/Comox and know the waters well.... so jealous of your journey, but will be following you.
I'm loving that boat... looking at one my self..
Atta boy Bobby, back on the water! Looking forward to following you & your friends on this journey.
Nice to see you back out there.
Beautiful day there just before the snow flew.
Wow, that looks like you’re about to have an amazing time. Not sure of your plans but you’ll be passing by Catalina during a nice (non-busy) time of year. Worth a stop. Maybe you could do a meet up in catalina for local sailor folk to say hi. Plenty of room in Cat Harbor to anchor for free.
What a beautiful vessel, Must be a real treat compared to your much smaller C&C. Looks like a lot of fun once you get settled into a rhythm and a little more familiar with her. Thanks for bringing us the videos so quickly from the time they were filmed. Did you have a chance to pick up your Honda Eu2000i generator yet? You will like the Honda much more than the Ryobi's that you had before in the cat. Not that there is anything wrong with Ryobi but Honda is the one that all generators aspire to be as you can tell in most of the advertised comparisons. We are all looking forward to your NEW adventure almost as much as you. Watch out for the Deadheads! Partially sunken logs are the worst and hardest to spot especially at night. Get a good spot light or 2. Nice to see you movin' on now as signalized by your new thumbnail. Fair Winds!
Yea, You are coming to Thailand! I'll buy you Dinner if you make it up to the North End of the Gulf. I'm that friend of S. Simmons.
Glad you are back on a boat. Look forward to meeting your crew.
Love the new boat cant wait for ur new ventures. All the best of luck and enjoy
Let the adventure begin!
Nice new boat. Look forward to watching your videos.
Fun to watch you arrive in Vancouver and cruise my home area. Looking forward to following your new adventures as you sail down the West Coast.
brilliant interviewing and guided tour of the new boat! 100%
i am viewing this a second time. so very exciting!
as well, really cool that you are buying the renovated boat in Canada.
Pretty kewl Bobby. Another shakedown cruise on yet another boat. Can't wait to hear how it goes and if you have any issues. Seems this is truly where you belong! PEACE OUT!
Looking forward to the adventure.
Congratulations on your new boat, safe sailing.
Beautiful boat ... seems the further North you go the better the boat condition. Fair winds, cold beer, cheers

Great vid and will be an amazing adventure. Cheers.
Nice to see you made it to Canada and on your new adventure.

We Love your videos. You were an Inspiration to us before we purchased our Sailboat
Sailing Baylana. We were in Puerto Rico for Hurricane Maria and unfortunately suffered severe damage to our boat. What doesn't kill ya only makes stronger. =)

Fair winds and fine sailing!
It’s a kind of vessel I’m looking at. Have seen an Beneteau Idyle 51, an First 53, both wonderful sailing vessels. Hope to meet you both next year in Thailand !
Awesome to see my second hometown featured! Too bad you can't explore further, there is so much to see!
Fair winds and following seas.
Bryan from Vancouver
Omg I love the boat!
Thank you Bobby! The video is great I hope your rigging inspection has gone well and that you have a fantastic trip!
+Precision Sails thanks guys. Nice to meet you all and thanks for the help!
beautiful sailboat!
Welcome to BC! I had a Beneteau 351 and loved how it sailed, super enjoyable! Looking forward to following you all the way to Thailand. I really like at least a minute of drone footage in each vlog just so ya know ;-)
Nice it’s all about the lay out of inside to
Thats my home town!! I grew up sailing between comox and tree island with sea cadets! Love your channel.
Black Fin pub.Fanny Bay & Kushies. Love the beach at Kingfisher. Eagles, porpoise, otters and whales. You are from a beautiful place, when the sun is shining. Salmon fishing not bad, prefer Langara region.
Sailing or not always great vids. This is going to be fun, be safe!
Sounds like your going to have an interesting shakedown cruise.
Congrats for ur new boat
I live in Cabo San Lucas and look forward to seeing the boat! Safe travels...
Cabo is great. I need to get back down to dive Cabo Pulmo.
Learning So much just from this Video
It's easy to run the halyards back to the cockpit before u leave. It's actually easier to sail a bigger boat than a smaller boat. I like when u said the line was fat and old and your crew member looked up at u as though u were talking about him
Connie Fontenot ......i believe ZATARA has all lines run back to her cockpit.
Fantastic! Nice video! Keep up the great sailing and the videos! Beautiful boat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow Dude! What an adventure! Stay Safe Man!!! Stay SAFE!!!
I might be wrong but I believe that the YT channel called SAILING ZATARA is this same make, model and LOA vessel. If so, some of their vids might prove valuable as Zatara has been logging weekly and is currently in the Pacific. Capt Keith has had to do a lot of hands on repair work while cruising with his family for the past 6-12 months. Fair Winds !!
Every trip of 1000 miles begins with 1 step ! Brother you just took 1 giant step ! Keep the wind in your sails !
You are giving. me the desire to sail away and live on ships again, thank you….
great to see you back on the water ⛵️ you're a natural at this youtube stuff, do you have or could you put a tracking device on your yacht so that your followers can see where you are at any time on like google maps or something? 👍🏻great video thumbs up 👍🏻🌎
Freaking awesome...have a great sail.
Great vid!
Excellent Thar she goes !!!!! see you in Cali if at all possible fair seas and favorable winds
Great Sailboat !
You are definitely living the dream!!!
Sweet. You passed right by my living room window down the Strait of Georgia, and I didn't even know it. I'd wish you luck on your journey, but I think you're already there.
Welcome to Canada and our beautiful west coast Bobby. Let me introduce you to a drinking game we play here. We watch your videos and every time you say "so, there you go" we take a drink. We got right pickled on your last live feed. Ha ha. Have a great trip!
+Rick Czainski haha sorry about that but glad you are having fun with it!
Nothing to be sorry about... looking forward to more great videos.
I wish I could be on your crew, just family prevents that. AND YOUR PUPS LOVE YOU! Thanks for the great videos!!
Precision sails rock! They built our Genoa can’t wait to afford our new main
I love how friendly sailing community is. That guy walking by made my day.n
Your boats just keep getting bigger. Can't wait to see what ya sail next.....~
I don't even like sailing and I've watched all your videos. You're videos
keep getting better and better, keep it up!
+travrgtr 1 hey thanks so much! Glad you are enjoying them!
Dude. I know I'm a little behind here but. WOW!!! She's pretty. Congrats on the new boat.
There is a shit load of those logs (dead heads) floating just below the surface, around the Straights and the Puget Sound. I am a long time power boater in these parts and I can't tell you how many times I've felt and heard them bouncing along the bottom of my boat. Never any damage but still kind of eerie whenever it happens.
I used to live just south of Comox in Nanaimo Harbour on Protection Island. My friend has a take-out fish and chip place by the harbour (Trollers). Happy to see all that. Fair winds. Cheers
+Laurie Seto it's a great place up here. Wish I could come back for the summer sailing season!
I just moved to the blaine marina this year and can say that the summer sailing in the san juan and gulf islands is amazing
Ha ha Now for the Easy Boating , Now for the Hot Tub!
THUMBS UP for meeting Laura! Great drone footage Bobby!
+King of Chuck yeah she arrives today! Will be great to have her aboard!
Dude... Your stoked...
Yes there are stray logs in Georgia Strait.
I would put the life raft on the rear so it falls into the water in an emergency, and you don't have to lug it anywhere.
Well glad you told us you coming to Vancouver Island, oh wait...must have missed that.
..... surprised in your rush to get out of the area that people come from all over to cruse through the islands, and cruise ships relocate to the area for the summer months to cruise to Alaska .... and a night passage to make sure you saw naught ... just a wee bit surprised .... happy sailing .... enjoy your videos ..... have fun, be safe .....
new viewer and subscriber. love the show so far. I know i got a way to go till present, but enjoying allo aspect of the trips. love the Bahamas info. I'm going to get my wife to binge watch the next three years. To me it's as good or even better than any current reality show on TV. Going to the BVI 2021 hope your around.
Two places I enjoy on your way south are Marian Del Rey in LA and Newport Harbor in Newport Beach.
Bon voyage, sir, let the winds be with you.
@2:31 Last flight to get to the airplane" ha ha
Love those dogs!
Nice video Bobby, hope you folks were able to get away from Backline today and that the snow we had didn’t affect you too much!
+Richard Bailey still here at the moment. Hoping to get going after lunch. Nice to meet you yesterday! Pet Lucy for me!
Nice toque eh!
Great boat, Bob, congratulations on your success in scoring it. Better than any boat I've ever sailed.
I don't like a few things, but they are nitpicks. No solar sucks, having to run the engine every day - even when anchored - would for me be a major annoyance. I don't like that it had mold, that makes me a bit leery about why it was leaking. I would not leave the dock without lifelines. The dual helm is there because the sight lines are bad from the cockpit? That also would annoy me. I know, I'm easily annoyed, it's a fine boat.
Would be interested in knowing the keel depth and how stable it is in a good breeze, I'm sure we'll find that out in a future episode. Happy sailing!
Mold can accumulate from decades of freeze thaw cycles and condensation forming. I thought I heard the hull linings were missing too.
You're up in my neck of the woods Bobby!!
For got to say Beautiful Boat .
Hi Bob,greetings from the UK🇬🇧, Good luck to you all on your new adventure(and Maverick and goose),one thing though are you going to fit the plastic netting round the boat to stop the dogs falling overboard, just a thought!.Have the "sail" of a life time 👍👋👍👋🇬🇧
+Peter Simmons thanks Peter, yeah I will be getting to that soon! I want the pups to be nice and comfortable and for my piece of mind.
You should ask the Sail Makers? Those Guys seem like they are on top of the Business. Ask them for a new design, a Million people sail with pets and small children! Lol call it "Goose Net". Patent pending?
BOBBY I HAD 2 STROKES AND CAN'T DO WHAT U DO...........THANKS FOR KEEPING ON .......I KNOW WHAT U WENT THROUGH WITH A STROKE......I LOVE YOUR VIDEO'S........I NOW LIVE MY LIFE THROUGH YOUR ADVENTURES......TY AND YOUR PRETTY GIRLS THAT GO WITH YOU........I LOVE ALL YOU GUYS AND GOD BLESS YOU ALL AND BE SAFE AND HAVE FUN
By now you know, there are many, many logs that got loose and are still floating around, be aware! Be sure to bring us up to speed on the main sheet rigging....
Laura looks good, she reminded me of your high energy demeanor. Things should be interesting.
ok, your back on the water .... great to see...... subscribed :)
+mikeyc181 hey thanks a lot! It's good to be back!
So that's where all the logs in the Strait of Juan de Fuca come from! Beware of night time sailing.
Have a safe trip.
I have been sailing vicariously with you.
Congratulations on new cruiser, I may have missed it, but what is the size and make?
