We hope that Megan reconsiders her decision and joins you for the Pacific crossing, you guys bring out the best in each other. You have been very supportive of the other sailing channels. Your offer of hosting patreons is seductive. I am 65, divorced; whose greatest activity now is riding motorcycles in north Georgia. I was introduced to sailing at age 10 on a fresh water lake. I owned a Cal 2-29 for a year and day sailed in Lake Pontchartrain. My oldest son has a 300 ton master's license. I recently sailed on his Pearson 40. I was happy to see that I actually remembered so many terms (halyard, lines, stays, spreaders, sailor's shower, six sailor's knots) and some techniques/philosophies.
I am looking forward to your videos when you and your crew get back on the seas. Your videos are not only entertaining, but also inspiring and often instructive. You have to appreciate that many of your subscribers are vicariously living through you and your crew. Wishing you only the best . . . . .
