Ilkvomit I was thinking the same thing. They could easily ditch the "appointment" thing and just make a queue like a normal maze and have the effects going on a loop.
+ThatHauntFreak2 exactly ! At first I thought that's what it was, just a little maze you go through but when I heard you had to book it and that it's fully booked I was like Wow that's bullshit. Now that I've seen the video I'm not impressed and I don't feel like I'm missing out on a damn thing
most people commenting on this video are all relying on jump scares, that is why they are all upset because this Experience event, which they are mistaking for a haunted house to be boring because no one is jumping out and scaring. when yet its clearly a "IT" experience that is free, they think they should get a full blown haunted house for free lol.
I feel silly for watching that. I hope people don't pay money for that.. gotta be pennywise. I'd be most afraid of the people in yellow, after being in there all day, I think one of them is likely going to snap and hurt someone for real.
Thanks for posting this it was very cool to see and we love the facade but I don't feel as bad that we passed up our chance to get tickets for this. So cool to see something like this on Hollywood and Vine, love it!
We stood in line for this because they told us if you got there before a certain time they would let you in for free at 1. We waited about an hour and a half until the guy told us they needed to wait for the building inspector. We cut our losses and got lunch instead. Looked like the line hadn't moved when we walked past it again. After seeing this, I'm glad we cut our losses.
They weren't horrible, but your camera person wasn't really filming whatever interesting was happening. I kept hearing cool noises while the camera just showed me walls and stuff.
I went in there !!! There was so much people in line to go in that house. I even saw the boy holding the balloon 🎈 and he was with these other boys dressed in yellow rain jackets
The {Haunted House} was not scary at all, it did have some decent scenery... the absolute best thing to see there was at 1:30 "bottom" right! XD It's too bad that the "bottom" isn't a permanent part of the attraction... that may have made it somewhat impressive and not so slow and boring.
its a EXPERIENCE event not a haunted house maze, that's why its free because it a demo. if you had to pay to go in then maybe they would go bigger but that's not the case here.
Not gonna lie I thought it was gonna be pretty cool, the "scary" stuff only pick up towards the end of the maze, I was expecting a bunch of jump scares.
This is a pretty big stunt, which in a way is kind of cool, but at the same time makes me think this new IT movie isn't very good if they are trying this hard. Usually when studios do over the top marketing and tie-ins (see Tom Cruise's The Mummy), the movie is usually a flop (and they know it).
Eh, that's true for some films. But to do something like this that is for a very hyped film, it's doubtful they think it will flop. In fact I'd go as far as to say they're doing this BECAUSE they think/know it will be good, not that it will be bad. No point in pouring money into marketing if you knew it was gonna tank anyway. It's merely cool, free promo for a very highly anticipated horror film. They know it will work.
Thehorrormaster 11, I never said the film will flop, I just said I'm nervous because this is a very classic book and the original film is a classic. Remakes are very tricky (Ghostbusters anyone?) Universal did a huge marketing campaign for Tom Cruise's The Mummy placing a 75 foot sarcophagus on Hollywood Blvd. They also heavily marketed it at Universal Florida complete with merchandise, and the movie was a big old flop. That's literally all I'm saying. The Mummy is only one example I could list many more.
Joshua Mattel, since my job is advertising and marketing, and I'm a former Universal employee, I can tell you that studios do exactly that, they pour millions into marketing a movie, even more so if they are nervous about it. That's where I'm coming from with my comment. Don't think that studios only put money into "hit" movies. Having lived and worked in Hollywood I have been to dozens of parties and special events that were one night only things to help promote something that literally tanked the next day. I never said this movie is a flop, or will flop, I actually am hoping it does well, but doing a promotional stunt like this brings back a lot of bad memories. I remember a huge event for Will Smith's Wild Wild West and can list dozens more.
This actually looks pretty cool.I have to say,it is really good to see that there are a lot of people as hyped and excited for this movie as I am and there is cool stuff like this going on leading up to the release of the Stephen King's It remake, just saying.
This is strange that house was just outside of my house in oshawa canada where they filmed some of the movie I watched it be filmed why and how is it there now ?
I love it when things get advertised like this. Like when the new season of the X-Files was going to air, there was a giant ufo crashed in the centre of the a giant mall in LA and I thought it was amazing. I'm looking forward to this, I reserved a day on September 8th. What better way to have an IT day than attending this the day of the movie?
On the first shot it should show the house and everything but all I could see on it was the Hamilton posters next to it *^* I freaked out I was like "OMG NEXT TO IT THERE'S HAMILTON POSTERS!!"
they built the actual house in Oshawa , Ontario literally right where i live and took it down so quick after using it :( wish i got to see it in person
This is a good attempt at it but just didn't scare me ! Hopefully they feature this one day at hhn can't wait for the movie hopefully it's better than this lol and also love hhn gonna be my 10th year going this year !! Hhn does amazing at their hhn in Florida... hopefully they do this but much better!
That moment when youre under 18 and you have to be 18 to go to that haunted house even when accompanied by an adult you can't go if you're under 18. And it isn't even extrême
Who remembers that one shitty movie about the lady who broke 5-6 crazy people out of an institution lock down jail cell place and then went to the haunted house where this guy was making a haunted house of them because they committed the biggest mass suicide, was strong and killed people while wrestling, cut people faces and stitched them up, was a person taxidermist, killed people when they went to the dentist, made people into food at a restaurant (there was one more) they went to the haunted house and just killed almost everyone but some of the rag tag crew we meet at the begenning save a few people and themselves.
"Would you guys like to look at my toys?"
Everyone: "Yes."
Me: "NO! Da fuck is WRONG with y'all?"
How is this fully booked? I mean I'm super excited for the movie but this just looks boring
Ilkvomit
I was thinking the same thing.
Ilkvomit Apparently only the online appointments are sold out. Someone on the website commented that you can still go there and stand in line.
glad we got our rsvp before it sold out when everyone found out about this
Ilkvomit They should have added the messed up stuff like in the old movie. Or like you can attack pennywise with sling shots or something
Aw man. I thought HHN was gonna do this. 😔
Gavan prior we can only hope they still have 3 more mazes to go I think
Silas Zig-Zag I thought that was Orlando exclusive
give it til next year the movie isnt out yet
i did not know that.
Why is he so against it? I could see why J.K. Rowling is against HHN touching her work, but people would love to see his work brought to HHN.
I wished Halloween Horror Nights made an "it" maze, i guess i have to wait till next year to see if their are gonna do one
I'm here because of Shane Dawson's video driving by on his way to the Team 10 house! 😂
Olivia Burrage me too😂😂
Okay so I'm not the only one?!
Olivia Burrage I thought it was just me, haha.
Olivia Burrage sameeee
Me too
Lol it's right behind the Cecil hotel. Extra creepy
Pumpkin Guts 😫
It's nowhere near cecil hotel lol
Carlos Valdez Oh shit you're right. Haha I got confused with another hotel woops
Haha lol, did you mean the Roosevelt hotel?
Carlos Valdez Yes that one
i really hope the movie doesn't rely on jumpscares.
most people commenting on this video are all relying on jump scares, that is why they are all upset because this Experience event, which they are mistaking for a haunted house to be boring because no one is jumping out and scaring. when yet its clearly a "IT" experience that is free, they think they should get a full blown haunted house for free lol.
GyroThePro Same. Jump scares are so damn cheap and not actually scary, they're just supposed to jolt u for a quick second
GyroThePro TRUST ME THE MOVIE WILL FO SHO HAVE JUMPSCARES
Jumpscares can be done well if they are done correctly, with suspense and build-up.
Evan Acree really? Cause they jolt me for "10" seconds. I become traumatized.
I feel silly for watching that. I hope people don't pay money for that.. gotta be pennywise. I'd be most afraid of the people in yellow, after being in there all day, I think one of them is likely going to snap and hurt someone for real.
Mc Key hi
Mc Key
Yeah
Is mayonnaise an instrument?
I guess six became a tour guide after escaping the maw.

+(Odd-Moss) It's supposed to be Georgie but funny joke dude
THATS WHAT I WAS THINKING
Anyone else think IT would be a good addition to Halloween Horror Nights?
Honestly it's my favorite time of the year when you guys upload the scare attractions walkthroygh videos. They've always been a favorite of mine
i wanted to go to this so bad...looking at this video it looks boring.. disappointed -___-
El Jefe Vlogs I love clowns scary 🤡 clowns and more I'm such a big fan of it and more
Well, it is a video, nothing compared to the real life experience of it. Besides, this is highlights only.
Thanks for posting this it was very cool to see and we love the facade but I don't feel as bad that we passed up our chance to get tickets for this. So cool to see something like this on Hollywood and Vine, love it!
Hollywood Haunter, I love your guys's videos! The exterior facade of this is pretty cool. You guys do amazing work too!
Thank you very much! 🤗
Do you create the facade
No we did not fabricate this one but we would of loved too 😄
I was there on the 15th!! I loved it so much!! The clown and Georgie room really did it for me. SO spooked!!
The bugs that were being projected was a nice touch 👌
1:53 when they finished I Barked At the screen lol 😂
#kawaii attack THAT WAS IT THE CLOWN
2:23 is that the original Pennywise suit?
Like the trailers this experience is designed to tease and taunt you. The real scares and secrets will be in the movie.
Imagine Sam Winchester walking through this haunted house 😂😂😂
jordynliketheriver He would've killed those clowns. I love Sam but I like dean better.
He'd die
jordynliketheriver omg haha yushh dude
jordynliketheriver omg 😂😂😂😂😂
the team ten house was so much scarier lmao. I do want to see the boys go to see this though, for Garett.
Shane brought me here
They built a house replica for that monster house cartoon movie?
Looks really interesting. Good thing i saw it in private screening 7 months ago.
mcjunebug2 Raleigh Studios?
How do you get private screenings? I was looking for something like that in the horror genre.
Andrew Rudy Galindo warner bros.
mcjunebug2 How was It? What do you think of it?
Santiago Macedo i like better than the original. Its more scarier.
They weren't horrible, but your camera person wasn't really filming whatever interesting was happening. I kept hearing cool noises while the camera just showed me walls and stuff.
I just saw the old pennywise with the other clowns in the clown room
What's the latest with still a possibility to get in ? How long is stand by line usually ?
I went in there !!! There was so much people in line to go in that house. I even saw the boy holding the balloon 🎈 and he was with these other boys dressed in yellow rain jackets
I love how all the guides are dressed like Georgie
I CANNOT BELIEVE I JUST REALISED THAT THIS IS THE HOUSE IN THE CLASSIC MINISERIES THAT KEPT CHANGING! AND WHERE BEVERLYS DAD LIVED!!
The actual haunted house set used for filming was about 15 min from my house. The town the movie was filmed is about 30 min away!
I love how that guy said wait for me lol
The {Haunted House} was not scary at all, it did have some decent scenery... the absolute best thing to see there was at 1:30 "bottom" right! XD
It's too bad that the "bottom" isn't a permanent part of the attraction... that may have made it somewhat impressive and not so slow and boring.
BRUH! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Does anyone know the music used in the beginning
Any information on how long it is going to be there hours ticketd?
so its just an ok horror nights maze
ThemeParkInfo yes indeed
its a EXPERIENCE event not a haunted house maze, that's why its free because it a demo. if you had to pay to go in then maybe they would go bigger but that's not the case here.
it's just to promote the new movie
ThemeParkInfo is it just MD or does pennywise laugh sound like beetlejuice ??
ThemeParkInfo I see you Xander
Thanks for posting. I couldn't get tickets, was going to wait in line but... this looks kinda lame :/ Were there ANY jumps?
How long is this here for and did it cost much to get in?
It's free and I think through September 10th.
Does anyone have any idea how they made the tree for the house? It's obviously fake but I'm curious on how they might have build it.
How can you get in ? Do you have to pay or something?
You guys might laugh, but I would of tripped over those steps
Who else got excited when they saw the Hamilton poster on the light pole 😂
i’m a dear evan hansen gal LMAO
I walked past this in LA while they were putting the decorations on. So cool!
I know this is just to promote the film, but they should keep it around until Halloween is over
Not gonna lie I thought it was gonna be pretty cool, the "scary" stuff only pick up towards the end of the maze, I was expecting a bunch of jump scares.
I was just there looking at the outside, I didn't have time to go inside so yay for this!!
when Pennywise came out in the clown room I actually burst out laughing

I'm just here for the score. I'm wondering if that beginning piece is from the film. If so I like it a lot. Nightmare On Elm Street vibes.
Too bad they don't have an available day for the waitlist...I was looking forward to checking IT out
what camera did u use ? or was it a smartphone?
This actually looks pretty cool.I have to say,it is really good to see that there are a lot of people as hyped and excited for this movie as I am and there is cool stuff like this going on leading up to the release of the Stephen King's It remake, just saying.

I love it when things get advertised like this. Looks like the monster house low key
I literally thought this was for monster house when I saw the title... don't know why 😅
They had the set here in Oshawa, Ontario for the actual filming.
On the first shot it should show the house and everything but all I could see on it was the Hamilton posters next to it *^* I freaked out I was like "OMG NEXT TO IT THERE'S HAMILTON POSTERS!!"
The one they filmed in was in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada.
Is this gone or is it still around?
WOW that looks unbelievably crap!!!! So many missed scare opertunities ...not much to it
Im seeing it on September 8 so exited
This was makeing me fall asleep
they built the actual house in Oshawa , Ontario literally right where i live and took it down so quick after using it :( wish i got to see it in person
Amanda Where is that. I don't like any scary movies or haunted houses. they scare me a lot so I don't go to any and also I have heart condition.
This is a good attempt at it but just didn't scare me ! Hopefully they feature this one day at hhn can't wait for the movie hopefully it's better than this lol and also love hhn gonna be my 10th year going this year !! REDDxMENACE This isn't a remake of the old mini-series. This is another, albeit more accurate, adaptation of the novel.
futurama pop not a remake its am adaptation of the book
How much does it cost?
isn't it from a wrinkle in time too I remember reading that book in 6th grade
Got there @ 11 waited 3 hours. Maze was cool considering the fact it was free, need an ID tho
Imagine people who don't know IT driving by and being like "Why are those men raincoats?? It's hot af"
Wait wait. WAIT where is this?!?!?! in universal studios HOLLYWOOD?
No, it's in Hollywood itself. At the corner of Hollywood Blvd. and Vine St.
Queen, is that really a grown-ass man playing Georgie? I'm shook
What was in that video?
Excited for the movie. This? isn't it. Pun intended.
thank you for doing this!!
2:17 Annabelle?
That moment when youre under 18 and you have to be 18 to go to that haunted house even when accompanied by an adult you can't go if you're under 18. And it isn't even extrême
did i just see...
a hamilton banner?
0:10
The first time i went in a haunted house i cried
Were they selling anything or giving out anything?
Nope.
do they check if you're 18? Doesn't look too scary
I think the point of this is to get people to want to see the movie..its not supposed to be some amazing horror house
Was it supposed to be scary at 3:25?
That was filmed with an ultra low light camera, it's much darker in person. You could barely see it and it probably was fucking terrifying
