actually cody's right, the time line wouldn't match up if your're going in order of the movies. laurie was 17/18 in the first halloween and h2o is 20 years after all the murders (so 1978-1998) which would then make laurie 37/38 in h2o. her son john was 17/18 in h2o (so she had him when she was 20/21). when would she have her daughter? so basically halloween has two different timelines, one's halloween - halloween 6 (excluding h3) and then the other timeline is h1, h2, and h2o. it's not technically /canon/ that loomis did. the actor (donald pleasence) died shortly after h6 and i might be mistake but i think they were going to bring him back in h2o (don't quote me).

She could have had her daughter anytime between her son and 6, her daughter in H4 and 5 was like 6 or 7 or 8 roughly. In Curse 18 or 19 if memory serves, they clearly address the original Halloween movies as Loomus confirms them so pretty sure they're all canon, they just don't explain who Jaime's father was or when Laurie had her, it doesn't matter. Besides, it's been revealed that Jaime Lee herself will be back in Halloween next year 40 years later, same house, story etc so I'm sure that will answer a lot of questions regarding Resurrection, H20 and 4, 5 etc. I'm not saying it's consistent, but there are franchises that are the same canon that just leave out things or don't address them sometimes at all or not until years later ie Star Wars....for example. They cancelled the new one because Rings didn't do as well as they thought it'd do in theatres. I personally thought that was a stupid decision. They treated it as if the same people who would go to see Rings would also go to see the new Friday the 13th. So they based the decision about a movie they've been promising since 2009, on the successfulness of a movie nobody really even asked for.
No offense, but monster-movies like Meg are a dime a dozen. Really don't see how this movie is going to blow anyone away. This has highr budget than the SyFy movies, but that doesn't make it good or unique. Then again, higher budget worked well for Sharknado, despite being a generic bullshit movie that doesn't do anything good or unique. It's not even so bad it's good. It's just bad.

It’s dark and disturbing and it’s not like any other horror movie that has came out recently. You have to pay attention to what’s going on and to what they’re saying. Everybody Loves D. Sunshine I know it's cool to say you dig Argento but for serious recommend one good Argento film. I'm asking for two reasons. 1. The Strangers was a severely underrated (and under-watched) movie, and one of my all-time favourites. I can *not* wait for The Strangers 2..... Assuming it is up to par with the first installment.

Everybody Loves D. Sunshine I know it's cool to say you dig Argento but for serious recommend one good Argento film. I'm asking for two reasons. 1. He's tackled two huge icons and both films were ridiculous. 2. Those were the only two I've seen. Suspiria is next. Gimme one more. Because so far I'm convinced Argento fans are only saying it to sound hip.
