Those tablets are awesome. If you try them again, try some actual fruit, especially lemons, limes and oranges... basically any fruit, makes them taste like candies. Tomatoes are also really interesting. Other things to try include anything with vinegar like pickles or apple cider vinegar (tastes like nice apple juice). The tablets work by blocking the sour receptors on your tongue so you basically only taste the sweetness of these things
Haha good to see the Melody Pops we sent are getting some good use! 😂😂😂 great video again, guys. Really needed this laugh today. David & Kate P.S if you REALLY want to put them tablets to the test…..use ‘em with the Fizzy Bubblegum Bottles we sent 😉….trust me lol
The Tango Dark Berry doesn’t have grape in it. It has apple, blackcurrant and blackberry in it but no grape. I meant to comment on the previous video but forgot. Grape flavoured drinks and foods are really quite unusual in the U.K.
@@Kazza_8240 I understand that and I also understand that in the US most grape flavourings are likely either artificial or artificially enhanced (because let’s face it, no matter how enjoyable grapes are to eat, nobody is going on about their really strong or tangy flavour. Unlike blackcurrants.)
After eating a pill, a 6th toe starts growing on each foot after a couple of days. The toe usually falls off into your sock after a year. My Dr said I would be fine but was more concerned with the horn that grew out of my head.
I love Anna just sat playing her Melody Pop waiting for JT to come back 😂😂 feels like a blooper/outtake that would come at the end of a sketch show as the credits roll 😂
JT you are the best, and, of course, Anna. 😊 I love how you talk like we are in the room with you, some days your videos are a Godsend to me, (because I live by myself and miss company), and the other days you 100% lift me up and make me laugh 😂 You and Anna give me my faith in human nature back. Hi JT and Anna I just thought I’d drop you there nothing important. I just thought you might know that Tesco is one of the largest supermarket chains in the UK and they’re an American company. Sainsbury’s is also a supermarket chain but they are British. It’s run by family and the head of the family is Lord Sainsbury, hope this helps. Love the videos. Love the content. What a lovely couple. Kindest regards, Chris.
If you have ever seen the British TV program Qi, they tried those miracle fruit tablets & the panel of contestants were given wedges of lemon to try after sucking the tablets. They all said the lemon tasted like really sweet oranges.
I only found out today that you guys put mayonaisse on your butties (sandwiches), we use butter. Apparently it's because your butter doesn't have the strict rules ours have so the butterfat in our butter is much higher and that's what gives it the flavour. Yours is very bland compared to ours because of the lower butterfat content, so you use mayo instead for flavour. It's the middle of the afternoon here and I'm discussing butterfat content with, basically, myself, wtf, how did my life go so wrong without me even noticing, i'm going to have a milk and sugar butty.
@@lisanelson9979 Don't talk like that, a chip buttie without butter, wash you mouth out with soap and water. Now a sugar buttie and a glass of milk for me too.

Anna & JT can u do another miracle fruit tablet video and get milk chocolate, white chocolate, dark chocolate and very very sour sweets like toxic wastes please
Us Brits just have a higher sour tolerance I reckon, Toxic Waste and Warheads candy is the sourest of sour in the US from what I've heard. When I found them in my local B&M I was hyped to try the 'super sour candy', unfortunately they were no more sour than a Sherbet Lemon, it was disappointing after all the super sour hype.
@@jollybodgerthey seemed not to know what sherbet is, with the flying saucers JT was just calling it 'powder'.....whereas how many of us grew up sucking sherbet out of plastic straws, and licking lollies to make sherbet stick to them, Dip Dab style? 😂
This truly is nothing new. Even in Europe, these berries from West Africa have been known for over 300 years. The plant's proper name is Synsepalum Dulcificum. From the second word in the name, you'll recognise that it means sweet fig, though it isn't a fig. The chemical makeup of the plant temporarily numbs the taste receptors which provide the sense of sourness. As most of these tablets sold in the US are from hybrid plants grown in Taiwan, and are not from the original plants from the Congo Basin, the US FDA has not approved them as safe, and it is illegal to import them to US.
What do you mean This magic pill makes British food tast good? As I've eaten it all my life and its the best food in the world. OH I'm English. OK get some foods from America and the same type of food from the UK. Look at what ingredients are in the food. Then taste it. Your going to say the American food is better as your use to it.

Define 'American food'. Hamburgers? - German [allegedly] named for the city of Hamburg where they were invented. Fries? - Literally called French Fries, from France.
