Excellent! I had the same problem, I cleaned the acceleration body and I was out of control, accelerated. I bought the same scanner and ran the TPS reset procedure and the problem was requested. the car was working perfectly as new. thanks you for your video.
0.59 secs you can see Chrysler in the software list , you get 1 free download when you buy it , it's a fantastic tool and I'm going todo a proper review .
This worked for me as well! I had the starter motor changed - the mechanic needed to remove the throttle (prob cleaned as well). Afterwards I had high revs at idle and engine surging when flick to nueutral at low speed. Had the mechanic reset the throttle and it fixed the idle etc. cheers!
Had somewhat same problem after cleaning my throttle body 2008 civic LX coupe in canada. No idle surging nothing like that but I felt some very slight jerking at certain rpms while driving like i would bump the throttle pedal very quickly. Also When I hit the clutch while driving rpm would go down to a thousand and bump up to 1500 and go back down again to around 1000rpm. After buying the foxwell 520pro(slightly newer version) I reset the throttle position just like in the video and now car runs just like before.
First, thanks for the video. I had the same problem - after throttle body cleaning, my idle RPM fluctuated between 900 and 2000. I tried everything - self learning, remove the battery, every advice from internet. No result. I tried to buy Foxwell N510 but it was out of stock. Finnaly, I ordered model N520Pro. I was little disturbed, becouse I did not find any information is that model works like N510., but nevertheless I ordered the new model. Guys, that device is amazing! I fixed my problem for few seconds. I can confirm that Foxwell N520Pro works perfect with Honda! Good luck!
I really appreciate the fact that you take the time to use your hands to record a video for us. I had a question: would you recommend i buy this code reader considering the fact that i was unable / having a hard time finding a scan tool exactly as the one you have? Thank you very much. Also thank you for the other video about how to clean the throttle body. I really appreciate it.
Nice work. Do you know why I can see or find the option number 12? Same scanner and I followed the same directions and could not find 12 option, any idea why? Kind regards
If you get the nt650 elite for around 145, you get about 30 different car manufacturer softwares already pre installed, you dont have to pay extra for anything.. And it updates them all the time when connected to a PC
I hope you're right. I'm gonna order the 650 elite on ebay. And you're sure it will help with my 2008 Honda Civic. I cleaned the throttle body and now it will stay 18 percent open with no pedal pressure.
Hi fella... do you know if this comes with Jeep / Chrysler software. I need something to read abs and my Jeep has a weird dual protocol Chrysler specific system. All my different obd2 thingies won't read it all.
Hello! I've just cleaned my throttle body on my 09 Honda Civic and now has a CEL with code p0507 (High Idle RPM). So will resetting the Throttle Position with the Scan Tool get rid of the CEL? Thank you
Hi, yesterday I cleaned the throttle body of my honda crv 06 following all the steps of pressing the acceleration pedal and using the correct cleaner and I ended up having the same problem that you had but I do not want to spend 150 $ on something that I probably only use once, my question is that if you disconnected the battery to erase the parameters and tried to drive it for at least 50 miles to relearn before deciding to buy the foxwell because I want to try to do it but if you already tried it and it did not work I would buy the scanner directly before wasting time and fuel
Well I bought it for my 2005 Accord. Had to go into special functions, since I wasn’t finding it. It shows TP position check, I click on it, then tells me “this option is not available for this Vehicle” 🤦🏼♂️ so now what?? Is there an update I can do to make it happen? In function menu #12 for me is Replace ECM/PCM. 🤨
Did the foxwell solve your idle problem? Did you do the idle relearn after the calibration? I have the exact idle problem and as you know, its a pain in the A55.
+David Mckeever yes I agree david, I purchased this off a reputable seller from eBay must be a stockist from the manufacturer who funnily enough is in china . Mine was stocked and shipped from the uk.
got mine from a stockist on ebay too, i enquired as i didnt want to buy a fake and mine appears to be a genuine NT630 PRO. I registered and updated it with no problems. cost me £120
Hi. I´m Manu, pleased to be a subscriber to your channel. I have the same car but LHD. does the resetting of the TP sensor really work, I mean my Civic with a one grand Bosch diagnosis pro tool, was not able to access that parameter. My problem is that the engine cuts out when not warmed up, after warm up, everything OK. Mechanic said that I should take the car to Honda to reset the TPS and the fault will go away, what do you reckon? Thanks beforehand.
Yes 100% worked , it’s not a trick I cleaned my throttle body and after this the car was terrible but after I reset the TPS readings back to 0 the car is now transformed. I researched a lot and found that only the foxwell with the hds or hds itself can do the TPS reset .
Yes. Thanks for the quick reply. The thing is, that I´ve clocked up 285,000Km in 10 years, and Honda will probably not even charge me for the labour, which it probably all that is .... i wonder if the Foxwell will work on a LHD from Spain. I mean, they are a lot different from the UK, even though they are made there. The local mechanic that analysed my motor said that he went to 2 other garages and they couldn´t enter the TPS parameter either....I thought I´ll add, that I´ve had an LPG kit installed a couple of years ago, and done around 140,000km, and it runs like skates on ice, you might want to consider up grading to LPG?
hi. What do you mean by the "hds"? I have a problem that the revs. are not high enough when the engine is cold, it idles at about 900 revs /min, quite the oposite of the problem you had. After that, when the engine is warm, it idles at 650 rev/min where it should be. Cos the engines idles so low revs when cold, it´s a pain driving cos its begging to stall as soon as you hit the brakes. tried the clutch and accelerator at the same time trick, but its hopeless. Because I had the throttle body cleaned, would this cause my problem to occur, or should I be happy and just warm the engine up before taking off?
The cjrshop Thanks I did, mine is doing the same with the bounce of the revs when dropping to idle, it never used to do. Towards the end of the video you said you were going to reset the idle, how did you do this?
There’s a process online , if you google it off the top of my head I can’t remember it , it goes like disconnect the battery for 20 mins reconnect run the car at 2000rpm until the fan comes on twice then switch it off .
Wrenching with Kyle mine was from a reputable seller on eBay your looking to pay around £150 anything cheaper is either fake or a copy , they are epic .
I have the foxwell NT630 pro .. my ABS / VSA light has been intermittently coming on and off. throwing up 62-01 battery voltage high 72-01 steering angle sensor failure 81-01 abs/vsa control unit failure 15-01 right rear wheel speed sensor open circuit I've trawled forums but not getting anywere ... any chance you could steer me in the right direction :(
Às i expected the abs light came on again. scanned codes and only the rear abs code came up and nothing else 😮 .. is it possible that a faulty sensor can throw up codes for both ABS / VSA system ? I've ordered a multimeter for weekend.
Hi cjrshop slightly off topic but my ac or rad fan doesn't turn on now even after a relay change , when cold the car idles at 2k and then drops, very annoying chirping noise at cold, would this scanner scan for any faults associated to the engine and hvac system also?
To the engine certainly unsure of a specific code associated with the hvac, if the fans not running it’s being held off by the low pressure switch , I assume when the engine is up to temp the cooling fan kicks in fine ?
The cjrshop I will be having a deeper look into this tomorrow. So far I have not heard the cooling fan come on at all once the engine up to temp. Slightly worried if it will over heat. Although temp sits in the middle at time being

You're the man! There's a few other vids about this but they don't show how to get to the menus.

Did it show 100% throttle after the adjustment?
Nice work. Do you know why I can see or find the option number 12? Same scanner and I followed the same directions and could not find 12 option, any idea why? Kind regards

Wrong you don't get 30 at all you get 1 to pick from then its 60 dollars £48 for a new car software added and stores upto 5 car manufacturers
Do you know how much the software is per make of car?
It doesn’t come preloaded?
Hi fella... do you know if this comes with Jeep / Chrysler software. I need something to read abs and my Jeep has a weird dual protocol Chrysler specific system. All my different obd2 thingies won't read it all.

Does he learn the fuel used? Learning air fuel. thankful

Yes it will not work the only way to reset the parameters is with a scan tool

Will this pull up DTCs on non Honda/Acura cars?
Did the foxwell solve your idle problem? Did you do the idle relearn after the calibration? I have the exact idle problem and as you know, its a pain in the A55.
Yep
So I Replaced My Pcm Have A High Idle Says Idle Relearn On My Scan Tool . Would I Select Replace Ecm/Pcm ?!
Where did you buy the tool from? See a lot of sites with it but some look a bit dodgy
+David Mckeever yes I agree david, I purchased this off a reputable seller from eBay must be a stockist from the manufacturer who funnily enough is in china . Mine was stocked and shipped from the uk.

Is it fix after relearn?
Great job man, thanks for sharing.
Can you actuate things like fans and windows?
Good question never tried
Yes
Oh gosh...the bad idle with A/C on... never thought about the MAF sensor :D

I even rang Honda and they said a TPS reset cannot be done and I must buy a new throttle body £650 ... no thanks I said .

Manu HDS Honda data system , and you definitely need to reset the TPS readings it will sort your idle out for sure .
How did you do the idle relearn?
Watch the video

15-01 right rear wheel speed sensor open circuit
I've trawled forums but not getting anywere ... any chance you could steer me in the right direction :(
mark morley okay start with the basics have you tested that rear wheel sensor for resistance? With a multi meter ?
The cjrshop I'll be doing that over the weekend 🤗
mark morley let me know how you get on . 👍🏻
Às i expected the abs light came on again. scanned codes and only the rear abs code came up and nothing else 😮 .. is it possible that a faulty sensor can throw up codes for both ABS / VSA system ? I've ordered a multimeter for weekend.

I subbed and liked
Anyone fix the p2279 code yet?
