Hello, I am trying to incubate tortoise egg in home made incubator. Humidity is about 75%. But I have to almost open the lid. Do you think that it is ok when the humidity is not changing and temperature is 29°c with almost opened lid. Or i should try make more holes and let it closed? I don't know what to do.
I just found out my female tortoise is laying unfertilized eggs. I am worried for her health. Anything need to be worried for ??? It will be great, if you can please guide me on this. Thank you.
It was not due to climate , but the female did not mate with a male so the eggs were not fertile . Female turtles and tortoise lay infertile eggs every year.
..I would like to add..that How can you be so rude to someone I agree that sound and explanation is little bit low .. but you should give them time if someone is new on youtube.🤌😏

Those would be infertile eggs which female releases every year. Those wouldn't have hatched.

Process of hatching is correct,but it didn't due to climate issue..
