Hey man great videos! Make sure to check the water everyday for the heat. I live in Florida and used to do this with small turtles also. The water can easily reach insanely warm temperates and kill the turtles
I thought the same thing, there's no where for them to escape the heat. Heat plus the water getting dirty could be a problem I'd think. The worst thing with turtles is they crap in the water which makes it so difficult to keep clean unless you have a large canister filter, and then that will still get clogged fast and require frequent sponge/ debris removal. Water changes are probably the best way to keep cleanish.

I have seen so many people making such small tanks for their animals but you are actually giving them a good size area.
TBH I think their dream home is back in a river, not in a kids paddling pool in some guys backyard.

Hey Nick, it might be good for you to make a post about the scammers. It keeps getting worse and every comment I can see has some form of impersonator claiming they’re you giving away a prize. Who knows how many people actually fall for it, but it’s getting pretty persistent

Thank you for sharing this awesome turtle tips outdoor DIY setting 😀 , how you change the water because turtle pond easily get dirty plus you got so many river rocks , plants and mosquito fish with turtles this looks will get a lot of works and tired , second is the nature sunlight really good for turtles but the pond water will also get hot fast by the heat of sunlight , i'm curious is it good and safe for the turtles?

I did the same thing in my front planter. Love it bro!! I got a pump with a 3/4in hose that pours down the rocks and that wld make urs look sick if you did the same.
