I think the “Motherhood” overalls are maternity. I recognize the brand from having my kids. They have beautiful clothes and I invested in a few pieces because they are pricey. I wore some of it after pregnancy because it wasn’t overtly maternity clothes. Goes to show that some items can be worn or styled different than their intended use. ❤️
Not gonna lie, I kinda love all that blank wall space behind you in the try on portions, it really elevates the outfits (maybe because I'm easily distracted by everything). And your styling is on point! I love the yellow pants with the simple T and the cow print statement boots!

A lot of brands/stores tend to do that. So you’re most likely right
You’re definitely correct. I have actually checked prices of items on websites and they were incorrect. ThredUP for sure increases the prices of items so you think you save more.

I'm guessing this is common practice, but seeing that they are a second hand online retailer who prides itself with offering nice clothing for a cheaper price, I wonder if that then is bs. Is the clothing actually cheaper or do they sell it for more it's worth? I know they'll have to also make money, but it just seems a little deceitful to me. Sure, they get to hide behind the "estimated retail price", but idk, it's dogdy. I will not shop on there.
I've noticed they tend to overestimate, but I was shopping for some Coldwater Creek pants recently and they underestimated a bit. It seems like the estimates are random. Definately price check and stay away from brands that aren't worth much to begin with (ex. Forever 21). I have found nice pieces for a bargain, but you have to dig a bit. Don't get me started on their sizing mess though.

The same thing that happened to you, happened to me on thredup. I wanted to buy a top that they said it cost like $70 on american eagle and when I went on the site, it cost so much less than what they said. Lol
Same I’ve seen that someone who got a shirt from H&M and they said it was 12.99 she paid 10 or at least got it for 10 and the shirt is still available and actually 5.99 I can’t trust them anymore

Here is what I would love to see. A video where you choose one of your viewers somehow through a contest or drawing and you go thrift store shopping for one of your viewers. You could do the straight sizes and carrie could do the plus size version. It sounds like you feel bad thrifting too much clothing for yourself. What if you were able to thrift shop for one of your viewers? I would love to have some of the beautiful clothes you all are able to find!
It’s better though when they have some sort of YT/social media presence bc then they can share their experiences/reactions to the items.

It's more like a victorian silhouette. Regency has the dress waistline right under the bust so you never see the shape of the natural waist and hips.

I collect cowboy boots, and I feel you on finding vintage boots in "larger" sizes. I'm a 9 1/2 - 10, and finding a vintage pair that fits is like finding gold. One small piece of advice that I'm sure you know but just in case, this might be helpful - try to get measurements of a boot rather than the size, because mens and womens cowboy boots can look the same so people often don't list them correctly. The boots you thrifted might be so big because they might be mens, even though they're pink. I also recommend looking up the style and the brand to see if you can find old sales listings to see whether they're a mens or womens style, so you can figure sizing from there.
I love how styles are being mixed now. You can wear cowboy boots & it doesn’t have to be a “country” outfit.

Oh I want to add I find your videos SO super relaxing!! I have been going through lots of them the last few days in my spare time. And I am drinking GTs ALIVE Root Beer (which is not soda but made with mushrooms and apple cider vinegar).
And I have started to buy belts too!! 😳 😀 Most belts don't fit me at all as they are too large for my waist! In fact I bought 7 belts today at 99 cents each. We have a lot in common I think. 😊🌈

I have a few suggestions. I have a four year degree in fashion design. You are a wonderful person. I am very grateful for your extremely positive attitude and outlook! IMO Sometimes, you tend to not dress for your age. You tend to dress either too young or too old. Just keep that in mind. Also, if you wear a long top, wear a short skirt to balance it out. Conversely - if you wear a short top, wear a long skirt. Look at outfits for their balance when you are wearing them - not only for their color and style. Also, clothes can be altered. If they don't fit properly, it may be worth it to have them altered so they fit you properly. The blue dress in particular (at 11.19), is too big.
