First thing, love the neighborhood! Love the pool! I'm no camera expert but compared to my GoPro 9, this is awesome! The audio after surfacing was amazing and not hollow sounding. Would love to see some scuba footage. Overall, great camera! What do you prefer, gopro or this?
Thanks. I hope to get some snorkeling footage in a month. Too early for a definitive vote, I’m certain both cameras are phenomenal, but this has some features that are very good for my scenarios.
Hi - thanks for the video. I have this camera and I am terrified of using it underwater in case I have it set up wrong. I can't find anything actually explaining what accessories are needed. I have the adventure combo - do I need to buy a special lens cap or something?
As long as the side hatches are closed and the lens that came with it is on you should be fine. I always worry when I get new cameras too, but I’ve never had a GoPro leak and this one should be even more water tight. I did buy the warranty to be safe, but that is because I’ll be taking this down 40-50 feet while scuba diving and free diving.
The case is fine and adds a layer of protection, but it is also a pain especially if you have to change the battery in between diving and the case dogs up.
No presetting, but this camera has a sensor that detects color temps and compensates for it. My old Sony did that and it was great. From what I’ve seen from the osmo 3 this works really well for compensating at depth. I’ll find out in September.

Is it advisable not to use underwater case in this action 4? Is it okay to use un the sea?
