The bit about the celestials growing disillusioned with immortality is really interesting. I hope to see that explored further in campaign someday
Everyone thought they were a Protoss clone but actually they're closer to Necrons in terms of lore.

Or the ARM and CORE from Total Annihilation. The ARM use cloning and genetic engineering. The CORE downloaded their minds into robots.
And vex from destiny, eldar from wh40k and covenant from halo
The point being, nothing about this game is original. Specially the gameplay.
