Ya I second this comment, I've never played StarCraft and basically every tutorial assumes you have some prior RTS knowledge which kinda stinks. I would really like to see an in depth guide of different strats for a true beginner. For example you could do a single video for each of the stats you described in this video but maybe that's too difficult idk
This is a great guide but I would be really thankful if you added a "RTS for dummies" section with terminology and explain the StarCraft aspects you mentioned.
might I ask - with the Vanguard build, is it not perhaps worth building your buildings on the low ground next to your natural? I'm just thinking it seems like yeah your main is well defended - but there doesn't seem to be much defense for the natural?
I hope that this game will feel like a nice balance between SC2 and Brood war gameplay wise. I'm just not too fond of this artstyle.... But it seems nice! I feel the RTS itch
So uh this is a fine guide if you've heard a bit about Stormgate before, but, uh... "Complete" (doesn't explain half of the upgrades) "Beginner" (explains things in terms of other RTS games instead of showing how they work on their own) I like your explanations that you do give tho
it's in closed beta right now and will also be free to play on release. It may end up being disappointing, but you'll be able to find out for no cost once it is actually out :P having played, it's definitely not done yet but it's better to play then it is to watch

I'm only 2 minutes in, but you say the hotkey for buildings is Z; isn't it Q? also, you manually sent a BOB back to production, when it's automatic?

meh this game looks disapointing
