Have you yet heard of another great ‘spider’ man, Swedish bassist Henrik Linder? He plays mainly with Dirty Loops, and not only does he have killer chops (one of the best young bass players out there), but an ear for musicality to die for-. Link for one of their pieces below. I don't particularly like that performance of Cista's. He simply does TOO much. In the process of dancing all over the fret board, he loses -- for me at least -- the underlying rhythm and all the runs break the flow and really don't contribute much.
