It just wrecks me emotionally and brings back memories and feeling I thought I had buried. I just tried again and I still can't make it through this song without my soul crying...its amazing how lyrics can make you break down uncontrollably. I was on funeral detail after returning so leading up to my 2nd deployment I gave honors to veterans and helped lay them to rest and to see the family hurt and hear their cries still haunts me as we would fold the flag and try to keep tears from falling down my face was....Eeeeew that's a hurt I'm not ready to feel yet🥲

I spent 9 months in Afghanistan.. and I’m only 22.. you know I’ve seen things and heard things people shouldn’t... but stuff like this always plays with my emotions because I’ve lost friends in battle and think about it every night.. and I just wish I could’ve taken his place... anyways love your videos

When I was in basic training our MTI made us write one of these letters and it was the hardest thing I've had to do. It really makes you take a look at yourself and the ones around and appreciate all the little things that you take for granted.

Please keep it up, appreciate your big heart and understanding what many soldiers see and deal with. Music always good for our head space and timing during down times. Bless you.
