My mom made tongue every other week..it was simmered all day on the stove and it was like butter. Every Jewish deli has a tongue sandwich.

I love lengua! 🤤 I remember when they were really cheap. Now, it's a lot. I paid about 25 for my last one and it wasn't too big.

In North Mississippi we pay $2.99 to $3.29 lb for bonesless skinless chicken breast. I buy 10 lb chicken leg quarters at 79c lb. It's just me so That's about 65c per meal. I get 12 meals from a bag of the leg quarters.

Hi Gaby!!! I have never had cow-tongue. What does it taste like??? I guess if you didnt grow up with things you dont want to eat them. If I saw it at like a buffet I would give it a try. But...I have never seen it around me. Anyways...you have a very pretty daughter. I like how you put the meals in the big baggies. Thanks for this . Take Care...Great Video!!!...🦋

It's delicious. It's very tender and sort of soft, rich and fatty. People expect it to be chewy or rubbery, but it isn't at all. You can usually buy cooked, sliced tongue in UK supermarkets, but raw is a bit harder to find these days.

Excellent taco! What a treat. Tongue has gotten expensive here. It can also be hard to find - just like heart and some other cuts.

I grew up with beef tongue sandwiches with mustard. Tried a tongue taco for the first time and had to add mustard to eat it. Thank goodness they were takeout so i didn’t offend the cook.

It is crazy to me that they are charging so much for lengua now. For something that was thrown away at one time. Is it just here in Texas that they are charging a lot because of demand or other parts are seeing the cost increase.

I have a cow tongue in my freezer. I cooked one before using a Mexican recipe and it was tasty. I used ingredients similar to yours. Do you have a recipe for the salsa Verde that you put on it? Thanks so much for this recipe.☺️

Cow tongue used to be cheap. Not now. Many years ago, I got "deal" on veal tongue. It was so bland. I ground it up with the basic ingredients of sandwich spread and used it for sandwiches
