- Something we've been working on for a little while is our own Titanium exhaust for the S55 engined F8x M3/M4. We've never been happy with the sound these cars make, and it's been challenging going through prototypes to get a sound we are happy with.
With a resonated centre section and carbon tips our exhaust weighs 20kg, 18kg lighter than stock!

Seems like you lot are forgetting that its Ricky's exhaust and not yours. So all of you sit down, get a m4, fit your desired exhaust. Finished, case closed.

Can you do a sound comparison with the stock down pipes with the catalysts in place, and if you could do some dyno pulls to illustrate the difference between the power and torque curves, that would be awesome? Thanks! Keep it going! 👌

have to say one of the only m3/m4 I have heard that sounds pretty clean. No easy task to do so. Great job you guys it may change my mind on getting one of these now

That video is not set to public anyways, only viewable when I post a link and I had made that back when I had the V8 to help others on bimmerpost making a decision on the meisterhshaft GT. I subscribe to evolve and love their informative videos. That doesn’t mean I can’t post my thoughts. I didn’t say the evolve exhaust doesn’t sound good. Learn to read.

It’s the length difference in the downpipes that make it sound crap. Not all that other rubbish, if you equalise the lengths of the pipes before they meet it will sound like a proper 6

Another well edited very informative video! Still like the sound from the S65 V8 better. For a twin turbo I6 the N54 sounds best.

Great video Evolve. Would be interesting to see if there will be more aftermarket exhaust options (less 3 cylinder-like sound and less raspy) for the M2 Competition

The exhaust is excellent Imran,removing the raspiness is not easy on BMW's I believe.

We believe so yes. As far as we are aware BMW have not done anything that we would consider a fix.
