Anyone worrying about quality: I own the black and white iron cross ltd and I love playing it. I see no reason to go spending the 3 or 4 grand just for the ESP version. All up to you though. Go try one out

Just got my LTD Vulture last week
Matt Shaw and what is your opinion about it ? Pros and cons ?
Just got mine 1 week ago and am in love with it. Currently those hetfield pickups are the best active pickups I've heard in person.

Yet pretty small on Het himself, wonder how fukking huge he is...
He's a pretty big guy, I think he's like 6'1. I'm comparable in size and the Snakebyte is huge on me and heavy too. I think it's even bigger than a '76 Explorer. My '83 Explorer (same size as a '76) is much smaller in comparison. So I can imagine the Vulture following suit of the Snake. Maybe the size is for sound purposes?
I wanted a Snakebyte so bad, but that wing is massive on the back. I ended up with a Ghost Fret, much smaller bodied guitar. The vulture has killer specs. I will absolutely be picking one up as soon as I see one in a shop I can play.

for me snakebyte is normal, les paul is small, gibson flying v is big,
vulture is smaller than gibson v but bigger than snakebyte XD
cliff burton was 6'2 and cliff was pretty fucking big (height wise) james is 6'1 now, so you can kinda compare size

Those pickups are really hot...you don't need a tubescreamer.
I own this guitar and I'm saying the same. Don't need overdrive. It's like the pickups have OD built into them!

@@thaatmatt mine started going away a little bit on the neck because I play it a lot. And by the pick ups because my pinky sometimes touches so it’s a little smoothed out. I’ve had it for about 8 months

OK so if anyone here has had the experience tell me Does ESP vs. LTD really make a difference for this one?
Unless they've changed back again most recently all signature ESP's are only to be made in the custom shop. So really you're comparing the difference between a custom shop ESP and a mass produced LTD. There will be a big difference.
