- Welcome back to our Maldives series! In our second vlog, we embark on an unforgettable journey to the picturesque island of Ukulhas. After a scenic speed boat ride from Jetty Male airport, which took around 1.5-2 hours, we arrived at our cozy haven, Ostrov Villa.
With excitement in the air, we wasted no time and set off to explore Ukulhas on foot. Our first stop was the pristine beach, where the soft sand and turquoise waters beckoned us to unwind and soak up the island's natural beauty. We captured breathtaking shots of the sparkling ocean, leaving you yearning for a tropical escape.
Continuing our adventure, we made our way to Ocula Tropical Beach Bar, a vibrant spot that radiated a laid-back vibe. Here, we indulged in some relaxation, sipping refreshing drinks and basking in the island's serene ambiance. It was the perfect spot to take in the island's charm and recharge our spirits.
Next up, we hopped on a fisherman's boat for a delightful lunch buffet. The flavors of the freshly caught seafood delighted our taste buds, immersing us in the authentic culinary delights of Maldives.
With our appetites satisfied, we headed to Murakabay, a renowned scuba diving spot. Equipped with our gear, we descended into the deep blue waters, marveling at the mesmerizing marine life that surrounded us. For 45 thrilling minutes, we explored the vibrant coral reefs and encountered an array of exotic sea creatures. The underwater world of Maldives never fails to leave us in awe.
As the sun began to set, we were graced with a magical moment, meeting an artist named Hussain. We shared stories and marveled at his talent, capturing the essence of Maldivian art in our memories.
To add a touch of adventure to our day, we boarded a small boat at night to reach a yacht where a delightful dinner awaited us. Surrounded by the vastness of the ocean, we relished every bite while being embraced by the serenity of the starlit sky.
Back on the island, we gathered at Ocula Tropical Beach Bar, singing our hearts out with karaoke, creating unforgettable memories and laughter that echoed through the night. This marked the end of our incredible day trip to Ukulhas Island, bringing the second vlog of our Maldives series to a close.

Till now, I always thought Maldives is meant for couples only. But this video literally presented another side of Maldives, esp this beautiful island of Ukulhas. Where one can chill with their friends group as well.

Nice Vid but wished you can add more shots of arguably the no.1 maldives beach to show its beauty, the clears sands the pristine except few drone captures which doesn't give much idea :( . But as usual it was a great video with all the bloggers together!!!

The more I watch the vlogs before I go, the more confused I become. If you are stuck between Maafushi and Ukulhas, which one should you choose?
I will definitely choose Ukulhas because it is less commercial and more beautiful with big bikini beach than Maafushi. but you will find lots of Cafes and restaurants in Maafushi than Ukulhas.

I was in Ukulhas in March. Not sorry at all. Beautiful bikini beach and lovely hotel - great restaurants as well! From my understanding Maafushi is great too- but I also understand it to be very busier but also good. Ukulhas has a romantic feel to it where I think that Maafushi is more of a ‘party’ vibe. But I would definitely visit Maafushi also one day!
