The most breathtaking place on the planet! I've been to the Maldives twice in less than a year. I'm still craving more out of this mesmerizing island nation. 😍
Both islands are beautiful, but Fulhadhoo is our number one. A beautiful beach with a sandbank and coral reefs. Nearby is also the uninhabited island of Innafushi, also worth a visit

Dhiffushi is a great base, it's fairly close to the airport because it's only 45 minutes away by speedboat and most importantly it's located in a beautiful lagoon. The island is well organized, we have local stores, cafes, as many as 3 bikini beaches and a beautiful backyard reef with turtles. In the evenings at the shore you can watch stingrays and small sharks. Most importantly, there are no crowds and prices are affordable.
July in the Maldives is currently the rainy season. Rainfall is to be expected, it is often heavy but very brief, after which the sun quickly comes out. The least risk of rainfall is from January to March during the dry season :)
This AI voice narrates the same thing over and over … white beaches, great for snorkeling/ diving, friendly natives, crystal clear water 🌊 etc. Just list the names next time, I’ll do my own research 🔬
