Mad respect that cast/ Houseboat fish with the bowling alley cast, Did you hear something Ethel? Probably just Jeff smashing a bigen under the living room. OK.
Got my hands on the 10 when it dropped and its quickly become a favorite. The customizability of the bait makes it so incredibly versatile it rarely gets cut in favor of other options. Easily my favorite soft swimmer in years.
And the hardest and highest to get a hold of. Cousin got me a battles shad for Mt birth day and wow. But the citizen 7 works for us broke boys. The tyrant us perfect. Butch browning a hud is time consuming.
For real… I caught a 4 pounder at my local lake where 2 pounds is a solid fish, and I had to shut fishing down for a mini photo shoot 😂 sent video and pics to my mom and everything
1:48 even the best of us get hyped and boat flip sometimes. Great content as always, you are one of the best fishing content creators. I am still using an old Zillion TWS and Lew's Super Duty rod (7'11" H) for my A-rigs and swimbaits, will eventually have to step up my gear.
If you are not exclusively throwing big baits I built a setup for under 200 bucks I have a video of it and it throws the mid size to big baits like a champ
another great informative video. please start taking those marina fish and move them to new areas. too bad these baits are so limited and hard for the average person to be able to buy.
I’d say you might be able to catch a big fish if you give it a few shots but you might be better off with a 5-6” bait. I love the river 2 sea s waver 168 to catch a lot but I havnt tried this one. 8 inch baits normally catch a lot less numbers for me than a smaller one but I want to give this 8” a shot
I was fishing normal sunline FC sniper and have had it fail on me too many times so I decided to go with a more expensive line to see if it saves me from snapping off Hinkle trouts and tyrant 10s 😅
@@crazybassfisher sniper is not too great in my experience, it has really weird fraying characteristics that cause it to snap at weird times and burn with knots, and it also is stiff.
Whats up with swinging the rod back and forth right at the boat? I have notices several youtubers doing it and its like they are trying to get a last minute, fake fight for the camera. I cant think of one reason why you would actually want to fight a fish that way.
Not really fighting it at that point, it’s keeping control of the fish to not let it run at you or jump out of the water while he’s preparing to get the net or reach down for it. Just keeping line tight while not reeling in anymore line.
Theyre just maintaining tension and keeping the rod pointed the opposite direction that the fish is turning or trying to go to. Lot of people lose fish because they think the fight is won before they get the fish in the net and they quit putting tension on the fish

Why are cellphones so expensive ? It's just a bunch of plastic and metal molded together... They're expensive because if you're trying to catch true trophy largemouth it requires certain niche baits... And those baits don't come cheap
@@slicethepieswiftley8019 You didn't answer my question. I don't know if you realize it or not but all of these soft swimbaits have corresponding molds on the market. We can just make our own
@WorkingClassZeroFishing not throwing shade, but low key... tf is the deal man. Why is is that one or 2 people can buy out the entire stock in minutes all the time. For like a year I've been following the drops and only been able to get ahold of 2 packs.
Please eradicate the phrase "on the market" from your vernacular. Forever. Completely. I'm a fan. I like your channel. But every up and coming fishing channel over uses this phrase. It's like nails on a chalkboard. Also, very cool video. Very cool swimbait.
Once you buy into the bracket and see the quality, you notice the differences and you treat your tackle much better and you never go back! I used to have the same thought process up until I bought my drt glides vs savage gear stuff
@@FLAWDAMANFISHING everything I mess with is JDM or exclusive tackle, I’m just saying from my experience these are not worth it. I rather stick with hudds if you fish or spend a lot of money on big sb. You save a lot!
What if someone made a softbait that looked like a long slender worm. Probably would be killer.
The king.

Imaging if someone mad a bait that floats and looks like a frog. I think fish eat frogs🤷🏻♂️
Nah man too outside the box, I think a ball with a bunch of fuzzy hair would work better 😂

reminds me of the panoramas aside from those not being swimbaits but i’m in love with that style and appearance

G'day Geoff. Got yourself a new sub from Australia. great to catch up with the man, the legend.
New to fishing so excuse my ignorance here. When the bass swallows the entire swim bait that size can it still be recovered? Great video!
Thanks Geoff..
Man those Tatula 300 & 400's are such workhorse reels. Even better if you upgrade the handle
Even the 150 is amazing

Fishing this on the east coast (NY) is gonna be hysterical
You would be surprised the fish that would hit an 8" bait....a 2 lb.'er smashing a 10" Rat wakebait will turn u into a big bait addict

I have a question my favorite swim baits tail ripped off and I don’t wanna buy a whole new one does the tail affect the bites on the swimbait

Seriously 😂
I’m buying a tyrant 8 tonight solely for the purpose of doing a saltwater test 😅 let’s see if it can hold up to a barracuda 😂

Yup, Calcutta conquest 400

I need something that cuts bites from 8/9's...when that 13 getting released??
A 10" Savage Gear swimbait and/or the 10" Magdraft...think Savage gear even made a 16" bait 😂 now that's a big s** of a B

Pretty sure it's the Megabass Blackjack and Tatula 300 that he talked about towards the end of the video.

It's to bad that these baits are never available !
you guys have pike where u fish ? I mean 100 use for a soft swimsuit ...

Yea. He’s out of his mind & kidding you. You nailed it. Save your hard earned dollars for senkos rattle traps.
Tough to pay 100 for a soft bait when magdraft 8s are 30 bucks and hammer tail Shad’s are 40
These have the headcase harness, so you don't really tear them.
You’re paying for consistency and customizability. It’s also wayyyyyyy softer in person than a hud/magdraft
