So, as you may have noticed, this is a (potentially) new series that I will be launching on the channel with my editor/co-host Kaprak to give my first impressions for upcoming commander precons - since my upgrade guides no longer let me go as in depth into those decks as I once did. Howdy Grazzet, with so many people planning on fusing the creative energy precon with the fallout Science precon, can you add a section to your future precon upgrade guide that speaks to that? Essentially, what energy deck could you make with just the cards from the two precons?
I think you missread the Salvation colossus. The creature gives +2/+2 and indestructible when you attack. So you can get the effect the turn it gets in. And you dont need to attack with him to get that effect
FOR THE ALGORITHM. I love to see you expanding your content. This video seems a little bit long for me, but it's just a personal opinion, love your content mate!
This seems to be one of those times the worst deck out of the box is the most expensive. This, the graveyard shenanigans, and the tricky terr all look good. The eldrazi one is hot garbage not worth its overinflated price.
This seems like a great new series for you, quite an enjoyable video. I like the way you organized the video and the closing thoughts at the end. I might suggest, since the channel is largely focused on deck building, perhaps rebalancing some of the allotted time from the individual card reviews to the suggested upgrades/cuts section. But, overall, I think this was a great first outing and I hope you see enough engagement from this to continue the series going forward.

First impression (not that I'm any expert) - I do like it; nice to hear you two call out the sketchy cards that pop up in a deck to highlight some misfits straight away and suggest casually cards that could be better fits. You do that already with the upgrade guides, but having two folks go after the card selection is an improvement.
I think this is a great idea for a recurring series. Side note regarding your comment about Cayth and Cathar’s Crusade. As much as I like that card, I’ve been using Starlight Spectacular from Unfinity a lot in its place lately. It has a similar effect for a wide board state and it keeps me from having to maintain a bunch of dice.
I think it's a great new series I liked hearing your thoughts on the deck and cards. Should you do one for every single precon that comes out? I don't know it might be a LOT of work seeing how many precons come out but if you can make the time and if its worth it I think its a great series. Also a note I would recommend looking into making sure both of your microphones are on the same volume level, I don't know if it was just for me but Kaprak sounded a lot quieter, your mic sounded fine tho.

I like Cayth as the commander of a Jeskai Modified deck that is focusing on +1/+1 counters as the payoff. There was some old +1/+1 matters cards from the Khans block that could see some play in here, giving flying or lifelink I think. And Goro-Goro pumping out Dragon tokens
Gotta say, I’m liking this! It doesn’t sound to me like there was a script? I like hearing your thoughts about the deck, hits and misses, cards to add and cut.
I'm a fan of these! Kinda wish you'd just go card-by-card instead of breaking it into categories, but it works fine. This precon originally seemed like the least exciting to me because Energy = Bad, but after hearing the discussion I'm actually pretty excited about it!
32:50 Having played a few games with it, I can confirm it goes HAAAARD. And a couple of tweaks makes it bonkers. I dropped All Will be One into mine and the energy gain = damage is enough to make you Archenemy
New content, I like. Hearing both your thoughts in this podcast style is nice, so we get more ideas on what your thought process is in the deck build itself, and what you’re planning for the upgrade. Also the thoughts on the new cards and how they fit with the deck. Personally seeing the MH3 commander deck spoilers, these seem from base much better built than the CMM decks, which is rather funny. Even if the Eldrazi deck is wonky, the manabase doesn’t seem crap like Slivers in CMM. I’d be interested on hearing more of these from you two!
I look forward to these new form videos that allow you to dive-in more than the Upgrade Guides allow. With that in mind, I hope the amount of Upgrade Guides and Commander Brews doesn't slow down too much; you've become my fav. EDH content creator since other creators have shifted their focus away from brewing over the past few years. Looking forward to see what's coming!

I loved this!! My pod's favorite way of creating decks lately is collaboratively-- someone picks a cool commander, and throws cards they they would be good into the pile. Then we jump on discord together and brainstorm which cards will be excellent and which other less so. This video reminded me of that process because getting to hear your thoughts on what can make commanders tick, or where particular cards fit well, is really excellent for me honing my deck building skills, and your guest was great too!! I like that dialogue-ish approach you tried out here. Id love to watch more of this in the future. Imho also a well structured deck review and not too much focus on single cards. I cooked a delicious meal while watching. Greetings from germany, keep it up!
Loved this honesty. Refreshing to hear a sane voice and opinion on new cards. You didn't hype up cards just because they're new and called out questionable includes despite high costs.
I really enjoy seeing a first reaction to a deck Grazzet having a very realistic perspective to a deck and his editor kaprak having the people enjoy the big splash perspective and giving reason why the card could be included. Amazing dynamic
Great new content. I don't mind the length, it' nice to have a variation of length of content as well. It's also interesting (in a good way) to have more intonation in your voice. I also like the discussion aspect with you and your editor.
For the algorithm! Definitely an interesting precon, though for better or worse the MH3 set seems to have similar vibes to the MOM precons. Or perhaps the CMM cycle? Hopefully they fare better than either overall.
The algorithm appreciates your tribute! I personally like this one but yeah, I do get where the similar vides come from - though I feel its more from the Fallout Energy Deck because (as one might expect) there is just going to be a lot of overlap between them.
The main set has a LOT of energy cards, so there is definitely a lot of support there. And, if your willing to play with Universes Beyond Cards, The Fallout Energy Deck has a substantial amount of support there as well.

Plus if it’s in ur graveyard u can unearth it for 8 energy. So it’s an 11/11 swinging and buffing the team right away for 0 mana

Upgrade suggestion: A merge between For Science! and Creative Energy

If you bought the science precon. You just need a few kaladesh bulks and a few cards from tge main set to even out the edges
