It was Rxh3 that was the bluff as White could have at least equalized if not ended up with a better position. Been watching your videos since long before you had 100k subscribers. The Fischer & Capablanca sagas kept me hooked. Would love a saga on Polgar. I remember you using her books to prop up your laptop when traveling.
I'm just happy I finally have some more time again to watch your videos. Your excellent analysis and dry wit are a source of relaxing yet intellectually stimulating entertainment and education. Thanks for that!
I scrolled down, as I usually do to "scan a couple of comments before I close the tab," and I saw that comment. Thank you, commenter, for a very nice game suggestion.
Agadmator will never let anybody compare to Tal. They would have to trap the king, trap the queen, sacrifice both rooks, and play a dark square bishop...then he'll consider it.
Yes very embarrassing. Not sure how he missed this. Doesn't he analyze with an engine first? I hope he sees this because the quality should remain high and get higher
Another example of this not thought out calculation is even near the end at 10:53 where he shows Rx and says he would have to play material down bur g6 us still m8!
Well yes. But also the pattern he showed is a common one with Bh2+ Bg3+ Qh2+ Qxf2#... but he should have shown that in a position where f2 wasnt guarded (twice). Agreed that wasn't a strong part of the video. He should have moved the bishop all the way back to follow the Finegold rule. Always repeat!
9:42 Even if Kf3 was an option, black could still guard the g7 pawn with the rook, and black would have been a lot better even still. White was just down a tempo.
Not sure if I am the only one, but it happens often recently - the two videos from the channel that used to appear at the end of the video now appear few minutes before the end, usually while the game analysis is still going. It covers most of the board and I am pretty sure thats not when it should appear. So if it happens to more ppl here, it might be worth checking if there is some settings issue or something...
Confident play from Black being his opponent’s Queen is immobilized on h8 sacks the exchange Queen for Rook Awesome attack truly squashed him Thanks for the Game Agadmator enjoy your day
I don't get it. The white rook is not trapped. So why not send The rook down the board to check the black king in two moves. Black loses his trap if he moves any other pieces but the paws and the one remaining rook.
I think it would be really cool if you threw the eval bar into OBS for the videos! I'm very curious to see how stockfish evaluates the moves of the end game
@@justaguywholikesgrapes2260 If you move the bishop back you still play f6 as black and now the King can escape to the queen-side if you continue trying to attack. The white f3 knight is blocking the Queen's diagonal, so you have to waste a tempo moving it, and the f6 pawn is taking away the g5 square so the knight can only move to h4 or d2 blocking the b1 bishop. You can't stop the king from escaping, black's e7 knight covers g6 so white's bishop can't block the king's escape even after you've advanced the f pawn.
Going further into this analysis, if after pushing f6, white sacrifices the knight on g5 the white queen can go h5+, but the queen and lightsquare bishop can't checkmate because black's e7 knight is guarding the crucial g6 square the bishop would need to help the queen checkmate black. It looks like scary but black can offer a queen trade to either force white to retreat their queen or to eliminate queens from the board and the attack is over.
agadmator is a croation little worm who does not make a video of indian players once they lose, while he is ready to attack firouzja, carlson and Nakamura
I don't think I've ever seen a position like that before - wow.
That's not surprising, as we had a completely new game by move 9 🤡
@@Toopa88 - where have you see a King and a Queen trapped?
The "checkmating pattern" at 6:20 is simply Qh2-h1. There is no need to involve the bishop!
6:48 that pattern is not needed here, u mixed it up. Queen can directly give the check and mate in next move.
6:23 but yes
Yup,
Ok whew I thought I was missing something obvious for white and sat there for 5 mins.
Usually in chess, queen is there to save king.
But in this game, it's KING which is trying to save Queen 😂😂
...and get trapped too in the process😃
What a manly King! 😂🤣
😂😂
Her king.
King and Queen in Quarantine

That’s so much fun to say out loud!

Need to be vaccinated 😅
That's the saddest looking Queen I've ever seen
LIke a fly caught in a spiderweb.
it just doesnt seem real a 2500 player would make this mistake lol
The saddest is the last white rook just staring at everything
In those pics it looks like Arthur stole Christopher's eyebrows
facts
It's ok though, Christopher stole Arthur's forehead.
Such beautiful quote by king "khosrow II"
I just Googled him.
They probably didn't have to memorize thousands of "disgusting " engine lines in their times.

I can't believe how much chess I've learned since watching agadmator. I do miss Medo, and enjoy seeing him is some of Tony's old videos.

Wow, the royal pair is impotent and their castle has no power, with but three soldiers in the field. Strawberry Season!

Such a heartbreaking position for the white Queen.

Agadmator at 6:22 you missed that instead of Bh2+ you had Qh2+,Kf1,Qh1#
But nonetheless thanks for the game recap❤

Delightful.
Also I think a Greek sacrifice was available even 1-2 moves prior to agad pointing it out
#suggestion, please Aydin Suleymanli - Hans Niemann, Turkish Super League 6th day
That game was really a barn-burner! Fabulous!
The queen got stuck so terribly that even it was NOT able to function as a pawn!
I hate getting my queen stuck like that when attacking my opponent's king.
9:42 Even if Kf3 was an option, black could still guard the g7 pawn with the rook, and black would have been a lot better even still. White was just down a tempo.

10:00 That there is the Diamond Prison. The Queen was never rescued.
Very funny position!
I think I need to check out more of Christopher Woojin's games
I once left Agadmator after years for the younger and exciting girl Gotham, but finally found back to my old love
Woow Queen and king being stuck shows how much of chess is still unexplored like that's such a crazy position.😂🔥
Wow. Just wow.
I had to come back and watch it again. It was so much fun!
@@jx14aby Me too.
A high stakes manoeuvre with the Rook.
Trapping the Queen like that was trolling.

Queen with King caught red handed....!!!!😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤
I would call this game "buried alive" as it is the terrible fate of the white queen here.
Imagine how the last rook feels seeing all his friends killed and his King and Queen imprisoned. He must feel hope less
what a great way to beat your opponent, he traps his own queen.
King sacrifices himself to save the Queen
Stalemate to the king and the queen!
Everyday a video from a new tournament.. I wish you could cover the post whole tournament
@agadmator would chess be better/ more exciting without castling?
I guess by "Tal-like bluff" he means the declined rook sacrifice that would lead to a scary looking position that actually survives?
When the net worth of queen becomes 0 from 9
Even its flashy but the opponent is too weak😂😂
Was playing white bishop to h7 instead of playing pawn h3 winning if not how?
Suggestion # Magnus vs MVL Crunchlabs Classic Day 4 Hikaru premoved it
Immortal game for Christopher Yoo. But who is Christopher Yoo 10yrs from now 😂
-check mate- ❌
check maid ✅
#suggestion Bruce Harper vs Robert D Zuk!
Re8-e4-h4 almost unstoppable checkmate.
That hopeless queen 😢
Sorry agad, 6:25, Bh2+ is completely superfluous.
Babbled more than Levy!
The comment before white plays f4 is incorrect as after a white a5, black does not play Bh2ch but Qh2ch and Qh1 mate .
These junuors are getting older and older.
Arthur looks like he is 40
Rushed it. Bringing king trapped him he could wait
More Agadmator Rapid Games!
Finally a Caro game where black wins 😊
One of these days all the possible games will have played and you will no longer be able to say we have a completely new game
i think there is a better pattern at 6:20
Ivanchuk-Kasparov vibes
You have selected regicide.
the covid episode of chess, nice
Uno Good Morning everyone
agadmator do we have a game in fide 100th birthday
6:22 why not just Qh2 check ? Is Bh2 check really needed?
God save the Queen 😂😂
6:23 why checkmate in 2 when you can checkmate in 4 ? 😂
The queen is on the board, but not in the game
Looks like a divorce where both parties lose!
Same line levy played
Arthur has thick eyebrows 😅
Why not go for the Greek Gift instead of playing h3?
Many premoves by agad 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

I don't get it. The white rook is not trapped. So why not send The rook down the board to check the black king in two moves. Black loses his trap if he moves any other pieces but the paws and the one remaining rook.
6:23 come on agadmator, its mate in 2, not in 4...
Wasnt supposed the queen be the one protecting the king?

1:30 Is there not a Greek gift here? Bxh7+ Kx7 Ng6+ etc
The King can sidestep the bishop going h8 instead of capturing the bishop, so when the knight moves to g5 you can push f6 to kick away the knight.
