@@TheMindBlownZone11 If the king can't escape being taken on the next move it is checkmate. If your king can't move then it's either early in the game, or you're probably getting destroyed.
King moving up the board in the open when the opponent has a Queen & rook is the most difficult move IMO. I saw the pawn push however to see that the king isn’t in danger even when so exposed is just incredibly amusing when you come across it. I always rewind the line “ What sorcery is this?” , when such moves are possible…
Today Vaishali wins for the third time in a row. This is probably the first tournament where she plays so well and consistently against 2600+ players. She's the leader now, so if she kept it up until the end of the tournament and won, would she play the Masters next time?
This match was dead draw till 35 moves. White started to blunder in the end game. Vaishali has gained 19 points after three wins and now she is world number 10 among women with 2507 elo points.
#suggestion Pranav Anand had some pretty impressive wins in the Portugese League this season, i particularly liked his wins in rounds 2 and 4 against Danyyi Dvirnyy and Del Rio de Angelis
1:51 personally, before white castles. Take the d5 pawn...2 defenders, 3 attackers...new, nd5, nd5, then....queens? no, bd5 then anchor it with e4. In the end white has a passed pawn in the middle. It will be solo, but does not need to hurry. A white d5 pawn....fun.
@@Brotried97 I actually figured it out. The Queen-move was the hardest one to find for me. I'm mostly self-taught, so ever since I learned about the value of the pieces, like so many others I developed the bad habit to trade and go into the seemingly less complicated endgame instead of looking for tactics and complicating the position. Therefore, I still mostly get beaten during the middle game, but if I can push through my endgame is not too shabby. But I don't think I could pull something like that out of the hat on a regular basis.😅

Sure, when you know you have to look for a winning sequence, I think that in the calmness of their house any player above 1700 classical would find the correct move(s). The "disgusting" line shown by the engine isn't for the first move by black I calculated, but it was exhilarating once you see it. Good thing I remembered that white is already up a pawn and I was looking for tactics like that
The thing is to play the first move (the pawn push) you have to have calculated the queen sac, otherwise you won't play e6 in the first place as it looks like suicide. Nobody puts their king into that kind of dark tunnel unless they can clearly see the light at the end (or are totally blind to the dangers).
"These two squares are cut off and when you have a check and the king cannot go these two squares is of course check mate, when you go after the king... this is covered by the king, this is covered by the pawn, so nowhere to go" -agad explaining how checkmate works- p.s. nice video
I found the first move (and the continuation), but only because you told me that there was something in the position and that it was a disgusting engine line. 😁
This may be an unpopular opinion, but I wish more players would rather allow the game to finish instead of resigning. It would be much more gratifying.
These young players seem to fail to find 'Only Moves' quite a lot. If they can learn from their mistakes, then they should be able to remedy their lack of vision in Critical Moments.
I loved how you explained what checkmate is in the end 😂
His level of disgust overwhelmed him. Lol

Can you imagine Vaishali and Prag in the same household.
Yeah. And how do you be a parent of two genius kids?
They might just play through the air by announcing their moves.
It would be a terrifying experience 😢
Almost like the Polgar sisters!
No
New game on move 22...I can see why some people dislike how some opening theory is so deep
This was too easy tbh. I found this line right after you showed me it. I'm just that good.
Yeah right - and the Queen sac. LOL
Good haha

One of the nastiest engine moves I’ve seen was from Levi’s game with the bishop sacrifice.. CRAZY
I found the move, but didn't find the queen sacrifice!
What a line!
I spotted that pawn move for white. Not easy to see, but it just makes sense.

Of course I found e6. It's knowing there is a move you must make that makes it much easier.
The g5 move really tickled dude's G spot.

I did think of pawn e6 but the defense with queen was something I couldn't figure out😢

Very impressive playing by both.

I found that disgusting line without even pausing! My endgame kicks ass, unfortunately my openings are wobbly and my middle game straight up sucks!😅

I intuitively guessed pawn to e6, although I have no idea what happens next. It's the only move that threatens counterplay by white.

The black queen can block the pawn
Not for long, the rook is behind the pawn, this is just a metter of bringing the queen to d8 or f8
Dear Antonio -
a better word than disgusting would be - unconventional or unorthodox.
A computer does what it is programmed to do.
surprisingly to myself i`ve found this engine line a bit struggling for Kh5 to found but spotted queen sac almost immediately
