In mid October, I bought a men's cable knit v-neck sweater and paired it with an off white maxi skirt and chunky heeled, cognac colored riding boots.
It would have to be a midget... I’m not quite 5’2
KarenBritChick I found a chunky knit cardigan made in England that was from the men's section (thrifted) and wore it about 5 years ago... I think my friends thought I was crazy but I loved it! The sweater was great quality and a classic style. I now find dress shirts from the little boys section as I love the boxy cut and quality of the shirts...thanks for the look book!

Menswear for me, absolutely! Button-downs, ties, cuff links, western boots, suspenders, blazers, white tees,,,,I think men’s tailoring on a woman’s body is cool. Especially when something in the outfit is anything but masculine-like a cami showing or a pencil skirt with a mans button-down and heels or ankle boots. Love it! Superb Karen!

Following your advice I bought a black v-neck sweater from the men's section, I had to return it because the peak was not as I wanted it but thank you very much for your advice because now there are more options and before I would have never thought to look at the section of men, thanks

Love men's clothes but as I'm very busty it's quite difficult. Anything too boxy makes me look huge. Plus I'm a petite. But am going to adapt this for me...x
I am busty too so I buy slim fitted athletic cut men’s shirts that have a small amount of spandex. Plenty of room for boobs yet nipped in at the waist.
Hey Karen! How are u? Thanks for this inspiring one! I did start shopping on men's section (and on kids' one aswell!!). I noticed that kids clothing is warmer than 'ours', apart from cheaper and better fiber mixtures... But in the men's one, although more expensive, fibers are not a blend of who-knows-what... There are much more cotton and linen than in 'ours' (at least in H&M and Zara). Sooo, please, go ahead and show us how u shop at men's sections, what do u usually look for or pay attention to when u spot an item u like, if there are nice things that we should go and try to find, do u also check on fibers... Many doubts? :/ Ill b waiting for ur next upload!! Huye hug!

You know how to style men's wear perfectly. Well actually you know how to style everything perfectly though. I actually got a men's denim jacket from Ralph Lauren recently because I liked the boxier look. Love how you styled yours here. Oh and those Balenciaga kitten heels are to die for; just stunning. yea I don't think I could buy denim jackets from women's again now!! This Levi's men's one is so perfect fit wise and feels more 'me' as I'm sure yours does.

Somewhat harder for us petite girls, but it’s always worth looking in the men’s section while thrifting.
Boys clothing!! ZARA Boys section is great. Perfect fit. That "men's vibe." I love all my boys pieces even pants.
I second what BFG said that the boys section is great. I've talked about the kids section before in lots of my videos. It's perfect.
Ah but for petite ladies Think Italian mens section -the quality , the Style and the cut ( drools lovingly ,
My mind is french and Italian but Elas as ive grown older My body has turned german ;) so you go Girls and wear some of that lovely lovely stuff!
@Karen F I wear a Size 0-2P and my oldest son was getting rid of rarely worn skinny jeans bc he's too tall for them so size 28/30 or 30/30 and the 30/30 and even 30/32 (super skinny) are a tad baggy and 32" can pool slightly based on the brand but they fit great for me and I don't have to give away barely worn jeans. Plus it's more like a mom jean fit in the waist. I'm Petite and Asian and so many women's jeans are so short waisted on me with a longer torso and shorter legs than Anglo people so these smaller size men's skinny jeans fit fairly well at least for going grocery shopping.

As a petite person, I have found that Ralph Lauren Men’s Small clothes suits me because he does not like very large men in his clothes so everything is sized down. True.

Loved this! :) When I was younger I used to buy mens wear all the time. I remember crying my eyes out when I was 10 years old and my father took me to the shoe store...... the pair I wanted was too big for me lool.

You always look so nice in every thing. I am plus size and would like to know what would look better on me in the men"s wear line. Do you still get the larger fit?
Blazers for sure. Try a few on till you get the right one since some brands do fitted/skinny/boxy versions. Also slouchy men's knits or their simple knit v necks and t-shirts. Even some of their boots and oxfords if that's your jam.
What about men’s button down shirts? What is a way to know what size? Belts?

When I was 10ish I was so skinny my Mom took me to shop in the Boys & Teens store(in Astoria!)
for Wrangler and Levi's boys jeans.
Then started wearing my brother's
and Dad's shirts, cause like you, loved the big feel. As I got older, would grab my husband's denim shirts. And I remember when my
mother -in-law cleaned out some of my husband's sweaters to give away and I asked her to not give 2 away that I always loved ......and my husband's sister
TOOK THEM FROM RIGHT UNDER MY NOSE!!!!!!! I was so pissed!! When Simon & Garfunkle did their first album poster, Garfunkel was wearing the exact sweater I had gotten in (Macy's?) men shop.
I loved that turtleneck sweater....dark blues and greens ....wore it to death and I eventually grew out of it! Now I'm 67! but you opened my mind to men's jackets, coats,
slacks....and to try jeans again....but my size has certainly changed LOL. Never thought of Vintage and the stores you frequent. Had moved to Jersey with my now ex, and can't wait to get to Manhattan to check out your favorites. One of my incentives to lose about 25lbs!!!!

Oh my I’m so late to the party! (Good news is I’ve written 85%, over a month ahead of schedule finishing book 1 of my novel series - that *never* happens with my last minute muse!) I started wearing boys clothes as a kid, way easier to play in & held up much better. Then men’s when I got “big” enough. Never owned anything but boys/men’s Levi’s jeans & jackets, same with MC jackets - tho got my 1st women’s crazy silver MC w/ black faux shearling for a steal after holiday sales. Driving me bananas, keep going to zip up other side! Was thinking of you the other day wearing my vintage Levi’s jacket like yours; had on a chunky men’s sweater under so warm but so bulky I couldn’t snap up my jacket!
