“Play-doh hair!” That’s What always wished I had (typical case of wanting what you can’t have). Love how you separate the ends into curls, looks so pretty short or longer. This video sparked some ideas; what if you & another friend swapped wardrobes for the day, set a few rules like a few different outfits (casual, formal, whatever)? Only other rule is that you’d have to style like it’s your own, not like your friend would. Or what about a challenge? You & a friend set a budget, decide where you’ll shop ahead of time - maybe just the flea market or maybe just thrift stores. You each have to come up with an entire outfit within that budget & only where you decided to shop. You could do that one on your own as well, I think it’d be more fun if made into a competition though! See, your videos are so great, they sparked more suggestions! Oh boy I really enjoyed this video! I have gotten so much inspiration from year videos! I am going to rewatch and learn! Inspired by you I just had a look at men's coats at Zara and there were so many fabulous options! I am 5"10 so the men's coats aren't even that oversized on me, but there is something that makes you feel more powerful, the broad shoulders maybe. I bought a large, long puffer coat in grey suede imitation, oversized, and I think it is just Perfect! Your grey vintage blazer is more amazing the more I see it!

1yndottil1 I think footwear, and accessories, are the best way to give a little edge to any outfit. Adding a more directional shoe or boot, an edgier bag, a hat, or a modern jewellery piece, gives life to classic pieces. Or there are classics like biker jackets, and trenches, which always look modern.
The wedgie jeans are my one big bug bear....I’m 5’11” and they are waaaay too short for me but they fit SO nicely. Why oh why can they not make different lengths in them?! Love all the outfits by the way-great as ever! X
P.S And I'm glad that you confirmed my thoughts about removing those clasps from the H&M teddy coat so that it hangs better. I agree since I have my eye on one at H&M, but I'm trying to wait for it to take the plunge being the typical bargain shopper that I am.😍
Blue suede block heels with caramel corduroy blazer and vest outfit 👍👍👍👍 My tieland block heel stewart weitzman boots arrived this week. I’m nervous about black suedes durability. I would spray them with weatherproofing stuff but do you do anything to yours when they get scuffed to keep them black?
runspud - some years back I got 2 pair of knee high Gucci suede boots - black & honey (it was called that, nut closer to a caramel colour). I.sprayed them immediately (I used Scotch Guard, seen many other products specifically for suede), let dry overnight. Never got watermarks or salt stains, after each use l brushed, put back in dust bag. I do it every so often if I’m wearing a lot (not taking chances!) not problem all these years (has got to be10-12 years I’ve had them).. hope that helps! 😘❤️🦇⚡️Jet
LOVE this kind of video!!! Especially because it's easy to copy outfits, and even do it affordably. I know you're supposed to show a sliver of skin between your boots and jeans (I've DIY'd about 5 pair since you told us how to do it), but now that I'm older, I get SO pale in the winter it doesn't look nice to see my skin. I guess I could invest in self tanner...???
Jet Kuhn - Thank you Jet! I have all different colors of ankle boots and sock boots, one pair of riding boots, and one pair of OTK boots. Do you mean cut my jeans long enough they don't show my skin (because that's what I did but then watched videos saying we should SHOW skin)? Or do you mean wear the riding boots or OTK boots? I want to we able to wear my shorter boots, but I don't want to do it "wrong". Although... I live in Oklahoma and people are going to tease me (behind my back or to my face) about wearing "high waters". HAHAHA!!! I don't live in a very fashion forward state. Skinny jeans just got popular here a couple of years ago and I wasn't thin enough to wear them until last year! This year, I'm cutting them off and I'm being asked why I "ruined" my expensive jeans. Marti Brown The "hint of tan" body lotion type ones are good just for taking the "glow in the dark" off your legs, and it's pretty foolproof to slap a bit on. I have pale skin too and don't suit the heavy fake -tanned look, but find these just stop me being self - conscious when I have a little bit of skin showing.
Helen Mudge - WOW! Thank you SO MUCH Helen! I will definitely look that up right now! I'm part Cherokee and never had to worry about my skin in the winter until I started into my late 40's. It seems like all the melanin in my skin was replaced by wrinkles and grey hair. LOL Thanks again! 😁

I meant to wear boots that went high enough to cover your skin, jeans over the boots (not tucked in). I suppose it would depend on how short they were, but Ive seen it done here in NY & it looks fab! Might be a bit warmer as I’m guessing Oklahoma gets cold? I’m always cold, dress in so many layers as soon as the temp drops so I’d never be able to wear them in cold weather without high boots under & about 2-3 pair of heat tech tights! (Brr getting chills thinking of wind whipping up my leg!) I see you got another solution, go for it, whatever works & you think looks stylish on you! Good luck! 😘💚🦇⚡️Jet
