Instead of the safe black dress and shoes I went with the dark blue leopard print dress, and broke out my black leather pointy, kitten heeled boots that have been at the back of the wardrobe for a few years. I love you when you say, "Always stay true to who you are," because my feet (and other parts) are often in excruciating pain due to Rheumatoid Arthritis. and I can't wear heels or really restrictive clothing. I love shoes, though (who doesn't) and so have to wear mannish shoes or flats with my party clothes. I've learned to be kind of chic about it, but it takes finesse.Your ideas are so cool and inspire me to try some things that suit me, but are fun. I just can't believe you're not a stylist, model, or designer.
Love your suggestions! I would also add if you don't want to go overboard with the glitz and glamour for the holidays think about color tones for the season. I am in love with emerald green, cabernet, gold, mustard, deep navy, mauve, and mustard yellow. All stores carry these colors during this time of the year and then you can play with fabrics like velvet, lace, and silk. I love to contrast all of those fabrics with denim because I don't like being over dressed and winter here can be as cold as -20.
i want to hear you talk about clothes for hours. You make me feel stylish while i'm wearing pyjamas bottom and a fluffy jacket with pompoms on it. LOve from France!
